Found some comfortable knickers!

I used to wear the M&S sumptuously soft before they rebranded them and made them shit

Picked these up from Asda randomly and they're really good. Big, cover everything, soft, stretchy and not entirely hideous so recommending if anyone is looking
Not tight over the stomach/band either or or the leg holes
Sizing seems fairly standard

Thanks for starting the thread - those look okay. But if anyone can link to an even plainer comfy knickers (without lace?) I'd be grateful

wirarpa Ladies Knickers from Amazon! Best big comfy knickers I've ever tried

nameXname · 27/09/2024 18:32

Slogg maxi. Very very plain. Very very boring. Very very comfortable.
They cost a bomb but are excellent quality and IME last for years and years.

I do like those wirapa ones but I find them a bit warm sometimes
Was after the holy grail of comfy but also ok to look at Grin
The lace is very soft too, not itchy

This! I have my favourite ones permanently in my Amazon save for later list as they sometimes get heavily discounted. I barely wear anything else these days.

MaybeItWasMe · 27/09/2024 18:52

Those look great, OP - thanks.

AdoraBell · 27/09/2024 18:53

Place marking for those links.

Well done OP

HighPrecisionGhosts · 27/09/2024 18:54

Boody.
Expensive but been wearing these years and not yet thrown out a pair.

LostittoBostik · 27/09/2024 18:54

Interesting! The stomach band gets me every time and these look here like they'd be tight, but maybe I'll give them a try.
Since I had children I can't stand anything on my stomach.

I’m not a fan of big knickers for me, but my MIL wears sloggis and says they’re the only ones she’ll buy.

Nitgel · 27/09/2024 19:00

Chantelle one size culoutte

cushionfiend · 27/09/2024 19:03

Thanks, I'll look out for these next time I'm in Asda.

Promise the Asda ones aren't

I have endo and can't stand anything on my stomach most days. It's got the same amount of stretch if you know what I mean so it's not like the rest of the knickers is stretchy and then a fixed waistband (been caught out by that before!)

Thanks OP will try them! Particularly because the comfiest pants I’ve found in years of trying and failing are also Asda ones. These, if anyone is interested:

They did have a high leg version but I'm more full brief, safely gathered in Grin

My kind of thread thanks OP.

I've recently had hell with any underwear with elastic. The edging on anything gives me extreme itching. Plus any seams rubbing on my hips. I've taken to wearing knickers inside out😂

OP I wonder is this also a symptom of endo like you say?

Ihadenough22 · 27/09/2024 19:12

Sloggi used to be good knickers. The last packet I got they seemed to have become thin and not as good quality. I found that Dunnes stores here in Ireland sell big knickers individually for around 4 or 5 euro each that are good quality. They do multi packs as well but I have never got these ones.
I think their website Dunnes stores.com deliver to Ireland, the UK and some other countries.

Oblomov24 · 27/09/2024 19:24

Wish they did super soft without the lace.
