Found some comfortable knickers!

I used to wear the M&S sumptuously soft before they rebranded them and made them shit

Picked these up from Asda randomly and they're really good. Big, cover everything, soft, stretchy and not entirely hideous so recommending if anyone is looking
Not tight over the stomach/band either or or the leg holes
Sizing seems fairly standard

I wear M&S Flexifit modal low rise shorts in a size bigger than I am - they're so comfortable.

Another Flexifit fan here. The thongs are my holy grail (please don’t shoot me!) but the high legs are also great. So basically it seems like all the flexifit ones are pretty good, depending what you’re looking for! Have to be the normal ones though, not the no VPL/seamless…

Sloggi zerofeel or Uniqlo airism high waist (cheaper than the sloggis) for me for work - move around a lot so need something that doesn't rise up, cut in, fall down etc. Will check out some of them others on this thread.

Sainsburys do a pack of five really comfy plain cotton knickers.

Pigtailsandall · 29/09/2024 08:17

I'm always surprised how much love m&s get here. Their underwear is so poor. The gussets are so narrow that I get a wedgie on both sides, amd the wristbands fray so fast. My MIL still raves about them but their quality is so rubbish compared to decades ago. I had to buy one of those multipacks when I was in hospital having DC and they looked like faded dishrags after about 5 washes.

Like the asda ones people have linked to, thanks

These Amazon ones are the most comfortable I’ve found in years

Thank you for linking these! I've just ordered some to try - I like the wirapa ones but find they aren't cut quite low enough at the back but these look perfect for me 😍

Thanks for starting the thread - those look okay. But if anyone can link to an even plainer comfy knickers (without lace?) I'd be grateful

Asda George other full brief multipacks (e.g. https://direct.asda.com/george/lingerie/knickers/full-brief-knickers-5-pack/GEM1131417,default,pd.html?cgid=D27M4G1C1) are currently really good.

I do find briefs are hit and miss, you can buy one year and they fit just fine, buy more the next year and they've changed the factory/shape slightly and are really uncomfortable. So I've stockpiled this year's designs/packs <grin>

So I bought these yesterday and can report that they are, indeed, very comfortable. Can hardly feel I'm wearing them. The lace looks nice too, and is not scratchy or anything. Time will tell about how well they last, but I'm liking them. Thanks for the recommendation, OP!

Phew I'm glad! That's my preferred underwear style, forget I'm wearing them

I do love the wirapa but I find them just too thick for exercise and warmer weather and I wanted something a little more.. pleasing for the times they get seen

The high leg ones from Asda are all I wear, M&S are 'pants' compared to them 😀

Agree - the ones with the grey tops. So comfy. My ‘cold weather’ knicks.
