Bargain calendar!

I spotted that @SoloCat and thought I may as well get a few for friends too, maybe even distant relatives I don't even like. It's such a steal 😂

I think MAC went down to £104.00 If I remember correctly, I 'think' that was John Lewis with a discount code stacked. It's more expensive this year so I don't think it will be that cheap this year, but I live in hope as it's the only other one I'm after.

Unless Boots do their Beauty Awards box again, I think that was £50 and mostly full sized products, I regretted only buying one box it was so good.

I've had a dip into my advent this morning, I was really looking forward to trying the perfume, as it has great reviews, unfortunately I am not a fan, maybe it's just how it reacts with my skin but the scent sticks in my nose. Even layered, I feel it ruins my normal perfume rather than enhances it. Although 8 hours on there is a faint scent which is pleasant enough but not one on my buy again list.

I think John Lewis had 15% off for Black Friday last year too. A lot of the popular advents had already sold out before BF.

Which perfume was that @psuedocream3 ?

@psuedocream3 yes agree re Boots box, that was great. Gave me a good number of Chr gifts as the sizes were excellent, plus IIRC it included an Elemis cleansing balm which was worth the £50 on its own.

Oooh I don;t know what - is that the one in Space NK that is worth £175 or similar?

Someone I know works for Sellors so maybe I will ask if they get a discount on that calendar? Hardly needs one tho eh, such a bargain

Thanks @SoloCat I really don't rate the Faberge candles, if it wasn't for that one drawer I'd have ordered it and shared with with DD.
Now that I saved myself all this money, I wonder how many normal ACs I could get instead?! I think I'll need to work on a spreadsheet. It will take me a while...

@clary it is such a good box, yes you're right the cleansing balm was in there and I hated the smell at first but then it's definitely something I would buy again.

@Ilovepond it's a strange one, my understanding is it reacts with your pheromones so it's different on everyone. My husband says he likes it, the musk takes over. It starts very citrus on me, then very musky. I'll wear it because I have it, and will layer but I don't think I'm a fan of musky notes so a bit of dud for me. Glad to know as I really wanted the molecule perfume but it works the same so at least I know its not for me and saved a spend.

I bought it on 10 Nov 23 for £175.50 so there was a reduction but can't remember if it was Black Friday or a "spend £100, get 10%" off type deal
I have vouchers for the full amount this year so I might just get it on release if I get FOMO!

Missoma (sp?) Has an advent, too expensive for me as a couple of items are a bit niche, but I love that they do jewellery ones

I Don't Know Ehat is supposed to be perfume enchancer, to extend the longevity of other perfumes. I think people that like glossier you may enjoy it. I was very disappointed that's the one they chose, even from this brand they have so much better offerings.

Try mixing it with something else, you may get better luck

I think it might have been a discount in the lead up to Black Friday. My friend got it with the discount but I ordered on the day it was released as I had a £20 off voucher in my rewards so got it for £175.
The JL calendar does look good this year and would be the one I would have gone for if I hadn’t already got the Harrods one.

I am embarrassingly Placemarking at p27. every day I decide I am NOT getting a calendar this year, then decide on SpaceNK, then have TopCashback confusion then just leave it and buy a gift set and say I’ll put the contents in last years advent box then just use everything the same day and then the cycle repeats

Yes I've had various offers, but nothing useful.

I've got a few decent ones currently including coats, footwear, bras, knitwear. Bit too tempting to have them altogether really!
