Marc Jacobs tote bag

What do you think about the Marc Jacob’s tote bag. Are they a bit chavvy or are they tasteful. My normal bag of choice is the Mulberry Alexa but I’m after something a bit lighter to take on holiday.

I’ve seen this one a lot recently. Is it bad to be coveting this? I am willing to be chastised for having yearnings for this bag.

OP, I would presume they are fake so on that basis I'd say no.

They're not Roy Cropper bags, but I do get the love for those.
I think I have 3 different Le Pliages, but I just don't get it.

I think they’re too common now, especially with the fakes everywhere.

It’s a bit like when teen girls used to take Jane Norman bags to school because they thought they looked expensive and cool I guess.

The mini. It’s a gorgeous bag, plenty of room, very stylish. You won’t regret it.

I find anything like that with a designer name splashed all over it tacky and distasteful!

This is my £15 bag from Turkey. I had never even heard of Marc Jacob's...I just liked the colour .

Used it as my airport handbag this year and it was very sturdy and spacious. Wouldn't have paid over £20 for it though...but that's just me

Same - I have a knock off bag that I use for holidays. It just says TOTE BAG (without a name) which I know is unfashionable now, but so am I. I can get everything I need for a flight in it including a small cross body bag for phone, passports, glasses and a couple of small items. It's also ideal as a day bag on holiday too, and I like that it has a strap long enough to wear cross body.

Just back from tenerife and I think I was the only woman in the whole resort without one of these or a chloe one, also ysl chanel snapshots gucci bags were everywhere! All fake obviously.

Chavvy. Just a bit overdone.

I like them both for carrying extra stuff around in a bag that's not going to collapse or fall apart

I ended up buying this in beige. I like it. It will do the job of an airport bag.

People here judging people with fakes, so what?
I used to only have authentic LV and Mulberry and I would turn up my nose high over anyone carrying a fake!
But after my so authentic LV ( most of them bough in Selfridges) got scuffed, got loose stitches and piping peeling in 5 months since I had them,I decided NOPE!
The quality is shocking especially on LV bags and I’m member of many LV Facebook groups and lots of people say the same now.
So decided to try a fake Neverfull which I paid £150 for it ( top replica) and guess what - 4 years later and the bag looks like new!

Since that I also got BB Alma and I can’t stop admiring it how perfectly made it is. And I don’t need to worry if it gets ruined.
