The first one was is beautiful, you will look amazing in it.
The second one is awful and looks like a nightie.

I'd feel conscious about the see-through band in the middle (sorry, I don't know how else to describe it). I'd wear a bodysuit type lingerie with to reduce the flesh colour showing through, but that's down to how you feel about it.

First dress is much nicer and more bridal ( if that’s a word)

The satin one is beautiful too but not flattering on that model.

I think the Ghost dress is so much nicer. It's elegant and classy and would suit any age. I think the first dress is far too fussy.

I like the ghost dress but it depends on the wearer's figure. it will show every lump and bump and as a pp mentioned needs a curvier bust than the model has.

First one would be perfect for your wedding, and I’d wear the second the following day!

No way are you too old. That dress is absolutely beautiful and I wish I was 46 and a size 8!!

I actually prefer the second one - it's more understated and therefore seems classier to me. Both objectively lovely dresses and having the confidence to not have to 'fill' the space with your frock speaks of good taste more than any dress will.

I think the vast majority of women would not look great in the second one.

Thank you, all. I have ordered the lace dress, the least I can do is make an effort to try on. The second one look better on me than on the model, due to bigger chest and bum.

I LOVE it! I got married over a decade ago at 28 and wish I had the confidence to wear something slightly different like this rather than the standard white sateen. I loved my dress but this is really really elegant. Go for it. The second one, definitely not.
