No, but I once got told off for wearing a very similar dress (at the same age!) because only the bride is supposed to wear white (or shades thereof). I say go for it!

Both dresses are lovely but i prefer the first. As previous poster suggested perhaps the second 1 for day 2 if you are doing it. Or a fancy honeymoon dinner.

When I first seen the first dress I thought yuk, it’s awful, but when you see it on someone it does look slightly better

If anything, I think the first dress looks like something my mum would wear in her late sixties. I’m 42 and I think that dress would age me. Second dress is nicer but only if you are busty.

Really don’t like the second dress, it looks awful on the model.

Lots of brands include white dresses that would be bridal appropriate - it's not too late to get something you like! So if the SP dress doesn't suit you, then loads of that type of brand do stunning dresses in white that don't cost 4 figures. Hope you get something you love and feel good in. Rixo and Reformation may feel too casual to you if you worried SP was too youthful, but there is so much if you just e.g. look at white party dresses on Net a Porter.

Edited to add: Oh I see you saw SP on NAP! So you're all over this. I always wonder who is wearing those white dresses as they feel so bridal to me.

You are a size 8? You can wear pretty much anything. You are 46 - so young!
Personally, it is a pretty dress but a bit old for you, but if it is your style, go for it. Do you have shyness about your upper arms or knees? You could do something a bit more glamorous I think, but if YOU love it then it is for you.
