As I said earlier, it's a lovely dress. Also bears out my rule of shopping: If it looks any good on the hanger it won't look good on you. On the hanger, it looks boring and frumpy, but on the model it is superb. I'd wear it if I was still 48.

What would worry me about the Ghost dress is that so many posters have said they have one/they have seen party and wedding guests wearing them. Can you imagine your dismay if one or two of your guests turned up wearing coloured versions of the same dress.
