Which sandals would you buy

Dh has very generously offered to buy me a new pair of Louis Vuitton sandals for the summer, I am stuck between these uk.louisvuitton.com/eng-gb/products/bom-dia-flat-comfort-mules-nvprod4940046v/1ACHYI

I already have a pair in this style in the classic brown colour and they're are unbelievably comfortable, Stuck between the two, help! X

No way would I pay that kind of money for those. Not even if it’s someone else’s money.
Take a look at Fit flops. They have almost exactly the same style for 10% of that price and they are extremely comfortable.

I personally would go for the black because I like the subtler embossed logo over the more in-your-face effect of the white ones. But that's my personal taste - which is meaningless when it comes to your choice.

Black are less gauche. Personally I wouldn't choose anything with a logo on like that. Do they do others without the logo?

Neither. You’d get awful tan marks. And they’re also extremely ugly, because they look orthopedic and have garish branding. They’re also stupidly priced. Sorry, but you did ask.

I'd go for the white ones. Chunky black sandals aren't all that versatile imo - whatever you wear them with, all you can see is Massive Sandal.

Logos are pretty chivvy, no matter who's name is on it. Unless you are being paid for the advert of course. Take a look at Fit Flops, much nicer

Oh I can understand spending that amount of money- just not on Louis Vuitton.

I suppose it's all subjective but these Hermès sandals, to my eyes are far , far nicer. The Oran and other styles have the Hermès "H" shape. The difference is if you recognise the "H" shape you know they are Hèrmes and if you don't, they're just a stylish pair of sandals.

And this is exactly why I don’t like either of them. Far too blingy. If I had to choose, I would go for black as they are (slightly) less subtle. But if you want everyone to know that you have a pair of LV sandals - go for the cream!
