Is this nice or is it horrible? I think it’s nice but given it’s from per una (where fashion goes to die) I worry I’ve had a knock to the head

I think the jacket looks really really blocky. Falls into the category of "Looks briefly OK on the model in the photo because she's standing in a funny assymetrical way and doing something with her arms to make it look like it's got a shape."

This is fabulous and a total rip off Isabelle Marant, Baykal jacket. Wow!

I don’t suit boxy jackets so it would be a no.

That said, if I like something, I buy it. I don’t care where it is from or who cares.

Given my advancing years, rather large figure and face that my mother struggles to love, there is a tiny piece of me that wants to loiter in the trendy shops and fancy boutiques now.

Why shouldn’t anyone like anything from any shop? There’s nothing wrong with Per Una per se. There’s so much ludicrous snobbery on MN style and fashion.

I was going to say exactly that, Adult Clothkits! I loved those when the girls were little, 80s, then there wasn't the choice in children's clothes and I actually enjoyed making them too. The knitwear was indestructible.

What's wrong with per una? M&S surely? I don't see much there that I like but I have a couple of nice ankle length skirts, one in metallic browns. Labels don't matter - though I do not like that jacket.
