They're nice. They're (usually) warm. You don't have to go to work. You can stay up late and have lots of lie ins. And I for one don't get enough of them!

I know you said you prefer a small bag but LV's Neverfull tote is really useful and you can literally fill it with anything (if you can carry it, it's not going to break the bag). In the old days when I still got paid good bonus I did splash out. All the YSL / Gucci / Fendi look pretty sad after a few years while the LV monogram ages incredibly well.
