I received mine today and was underwhelmed. I’ve just cancelled (I also have a Haeckels subscription and find I much prefer that; the seaweed tea this month notwithstanding), so it will be no great loss. I’ve ordered a candle and some stationery bits with my vouchers, will always use those items. Farewell BD, it was nice knowing you.

Love my box as always. Gym size treats I will use, a mask with a long use by so will get used eventually. The perfume is pretty close to Estée Lauder modern muse. Just got upstairs to check and YES citrus, jasmine and honeysuckle. It's my fresh scent go to as spring starts (ie NOW) although I have two bottles of muse so won't be repurchasing. Cleansers are always welcome here, if no good for me I have two teens grateful for treats.

I have a bottle of perfume, face powder, kit and gwp arriving tomorrow. Hoping the packaging is good!

I'm more sad about not being fully involved in this thread than I am about leaving BD. As a beauty snob, I have loved this and the advent calendar thread for luxury beauty talk.

My sister came round today and she honestly just loves dove soap and soap & glory shower scrub so is totally baffled by my obsession with bougie products 🤣

I don’t do bd any more but I come to this thread for time to time 😂

Least favourite box since joining last January.

I had decided to give it till the end of this year to see how it goes, as do love building up credit for a guilt free splurge, but if there’s not a decent kit or GWP over the next few months I will be cancelling sadly.

I left the BD in January but have followed along thinking if there was any great products I could pick them up on eBay.
Looks like I haven't missed out so will continue to get the small gift kits from others. I love the Sunday Riley box I got last month.

My box hasn't arrived yet but then, neither has my order from five days ago. I am totally unexcited about this box. I thought the idea was to have new products to try before buying really, not PK and Votary apple bloody tonic or whatever it is on a loop.

I’m ok with this box, the perfumes are expensive (maybe more than they should be but that’s the price that is set) and so I think that the small sample is fine - in context I ordered the Victoria Beckham perfume discovery kit and that was £30 plus postage to try three that are a similar size to this. If they drop a new one in each box to trial I think that’s fair enough. The m and g I wasn’t going to try as I thought grapefruit would be drying but reading up on it, it seems to be for sensitive skin so will give it a go, and I love a cold wet face mask (menopausal so I love the cooling!)
Ive found liberty customer service to be excellent - they replace items with a whole new box if there’s a problem, and when I’ve complained about a kit they’ve refunded in full and told me to keep it. I’ve never had that level of service from space NK or cult beauty (as comparative examples). When this set up we all thought it was too good to be true, and yes the increase in price isn’t great and it should have been better thought out, but when the kits are good they are excellent, and the 10% off will cover the £60 a year more or less. I’m therefore not classing the boxes as costing the full £60 for me and I’m happily continuing with it. I’d personally rather have a small perfume sample that I don’t like than a green glitter eyeliner.

Just to say I agree with you @Summerdew . Liberty customer service is excellent (though they may need to spend a bit on their digital infrastructure). I recently placed an order with CB and received faulty products and didn’t hear back until I’d placed a TrustPilot review. I’m not BD anymore as I didn’t like the Durga air freshener and having the boxes put behind bins, but I really like the kits and keep following this thread for the heads up on those. I think being a BD member would work out for me value wise if I bought all my beauty products from there.

Liberty customer is generally very good. I once had a BD with an item missing and they just sent a new box, which was great. I complained about the recent kit that had the wrong sizes advertised though and all they offered was 15% off to be credited as BD vouchers. I agreed and then was quite annoyed when they only credited £10. 15% wasn't much more than a tenner but it felt like they offered 15% because it sounded better than £10 and it just seemed strange to offer one amount then round it down when they could have just offered £10 refund in the first place.

Just got my box, Asked myself if I’d be happy paying £15 for it. I do like Sunday Riley and the other things are a good size for travel ( obvs not the perfume) . Can’t decide. Will watch from the sidelines with interest to see what happens going forward.

The Liberty Beauty Instagram just posted a new GWP and say more details in the link in bio. When you click on the link in bio there is no information. Nothing on the website…

Another fail from the Liberty Beauty Team!

I saw that @RedSwans the grid post has been deleted now but the link is there in link in bio, it goes to their page about individual free gifts you receive with certain brands, so I thought it was just a picture to advertise that now an actual new GWP. I’m sure someone on this thread will figure it out and I look forward to the answer!

It seems like that’s what it is, not a GWP! Rather misleading.

Shame - as it looked a brilliant GWP and I was gearing up to buy something!

That picture looks very much like a GWP because of the cosmetics bag. However, it seems to include photos of everything in the beauty drop box, plus some bits from last week’s GWP. It looks better than the last few “clearing the shelves” GWP, but perhaps not as good as their normal “proper” GWP. I think there is usually a proper GWP around this time of year so it could well be that.

Interesting! The grid post on Insta was definitely there 5 minutes ago but has now disappeared! They’ve clearly made another error……

I got this when I clicked the link in the liberty beauty team IG bio. Not very well worded as it sounds like another membership type thing.

I saw the Instagram post and also had this email. But it's a kind of trick, I don't think there's a GWP with multiple brands. It's just usual spend X amount on this brand and get eg a little eye cream gift free.

I hope I've missed something but I think they're using an appealing photo to lure people in when there's nothing particularly special on offer.
It's annoying and doesn't make sense to me, hence why I think this is exactly what the Liberty beauty team have done 🤣

That picture makes more sense because it’s a photo of things you could get by buying different brands. The photo on Insta includes brands which don’t have any offers on (Malin, Korres etc) and it’s a Liberty print bag. I suspect that insta was supposed to post your photo and accidentally posted one of an upcoming GWP. Given all the problems and mistakes they’ve had, surely someone should be overseeing and double checking all emails/social media!

@Another76543 ooh - I hope that is the mistake as I stand by what I said and I'd love this as. GWP!

Honestly though, is the beauty department staffed by work experience students or something? They make so many basic errors.
