WTF - Horseshoe Jeans

I’m still not over how bad Mom jeans look on most people. I accept skinny jeans are over, I am happy in my straight legged jeans. But all over my instagram feed are these new ‘horseshoe’ jeans. That basically make you look like you have bandy legs? Just why?

I know I don’t have to wear them I am just despairing of all these awful jeans trends.

I do love a flare. I shall stick with that.

They are not for me. I'd look like I'd just got off my horse 🤠 yeehaw

These are a no for me and I wore black barrel legs with Converse and a stripy t shirt today!

You really can't beat skinnies though. I wear oversized shirts, chunky jumpers and longline tops, and at 5ft4 with generous boobs I don't suit baggy bottoms and tops together. I can just about do straight leg rolled jeans with those. Sometimes I just want a "leg covering" that's thicker than leggings.

Oh boy, those are bad! We haven't seen anyone here wearing them, but I'm small town, not city.

On trend here are still skinny for the 30's, straights for 40's and over wide leg ripped for teens and 20's. Generally anyway. You don't see many flare or cropped legs here. I'm in BC Canada.

@Delatron i was actually laughing at those a few years ago in a shop and a man came up to me and said "finally, a pair of jeans that will look fine on me"!!!!! I looked down and saw he had the bandiest legs I had ever seen!! honestly, just about rolling on the floor!!!

Am I the only one who loves them? They’re basically barrell jeans. I wear my black pair near on everyday!

Skinny jeans are not over, I think the wider leg jeans make a lot of people look frumpy and larger than they actually are unless you are very slim

Skinny jeans are still in all the shops and look like they will be for some time to come, I think it depends on the way they are styled

tapered jeans or as I’ve seen them described in places ‘carrot legged’ jeans also look quite good but can sometimes make people look bulky around the middle

I know some very stylish women are still wearing skinnies, there are some women who follow trends that are wearing the wider legs and it really Dosen’t flatter them at all

Skinny jeans have been in for about 20 years now which when you think about it is longer than any style beforehand. They're a classic.

I always think I could be a fashion designer, can't draw and people seem to go for the most ridiculous rubbish ever. :) Obviously skinny jeans aren't 'dead' and they've been around a lot longer than 2 decades.
