That's a great jacket! I like it a lot. I must go check out Seasalt, it has been a good while since I last had a look at what they have.

Not so keen on the colour, a bit too puce for me. The green version is nicer, I think.

I have ordered up a couple of t-shirts and a knitted vest from the Seasalt sale now!

@Countmeout oh I do like the green version 🙌 thank you. We have a Seasalt (but sadly not a Toast) so I might pop in at the weekend for a poke about.

I’ve joined the bandwagon and bought some arc pants. I wanted denim ones and think I need large (size 14 with ever expanding waist) so the only ones I could find were long leg. Not sure if they will fit as I want but fingers crossed.

@faustina how are you getting on with yours? And sorry I know someone else bought them but can’t remember who!

The cost per wear on mine is rapidly going down. I don't think I've 100% worked out what tops work perfectly with them, but it's quite a difficult time of year for anything clothes-wise. Still getting my head round the end of winter. I've just got a really nice little hooded jacket from Uniqlo which I'm hoping will work though

If you follow le Bon Shoppe on IG they've done some shorts along the same lines which I think I might have to buy too

@MrsRadichio @faustina it was me! I have worn them loads, they are so comfortable. I got the L too, I find they are getting a bit looser as I wear them. I haven’t washed them yet but I wouldn’t mind if they shrink a little bit. I find you have to wear quite a neat close fitting top with them as they are quite baggy and so a loose top does make you look a bit oversized. I find a straight tshirt or a neatish jumper works well.

Does anyone else struggle with packing to go away when the actual holiday you're going on doesn't suit the Toast aesthetic?!

We are fortunate enough to be going away for a couple of weeks but it will predominantly be walking, hiking, visiting interesting little towns and being outside with nature.

Now I'd love to waft about in canyons with a Toast dress billowing around me but I know it's just not practical!! So I'm trying to put together a more sporty and boring suitcase rather than a more curated Toast holiday look!

I have a lot of the wool and wool/tencel t-shirts, which come in handy for walks in the cold instead of a "technical" layer under a jacket.
Toast trousers with not-too-wide legs are ok to use when walking.
Walking in dresses works fine for me - with leggings.
If walking in summer, Toast linen shorts works fine together with walking shoes/boots for me.

Thanks @BettinaInDenmark. Yes I'm taking some wool tencel tops for layering but unfortunately my trousers are the billowing flappy type (apart from a couple of smart pairs that are definitely not going to be trekked around the canyons!!)
I have taken the opportunity to buy some of the Uniqlo Airism clothing including some trousers and a dress that will fold up very small without creasing. Obviously a couple of Toast scarves will be brought along to add to the dress.

@faustina , @Snowyowl78 - I'm increasingly tempted by the Arc pants, but just wondering about size. Please can I ask how you found the sizing? I'm not sure whether to go with a M or L (I'm a UK 12).

I find the general darkness of quite a lot of the clothing problematic for sunshine holidays @AFingerofFudge and the weight of the fabric too. The triangle dress from a few years back is light in weight but the darkness of it seems out of place in the sun. I have never got the linen dresses to fit correctly.

@FiddleFigs i’d go for M. I am a real life 14 (more of a 10/12 old toast) and I got the L. They are very comfortable but borderline too big.

@AFingerofFudge are you going somewhere hot or cold? If walking and it's hot, then I don't see why linen trousers (eg Alix) or shorts wouldn't do the trick? I agree about some of the dresses being quite heavyweight for anywhere too hot, and yet, sleeveless, so not always appropriate for the UK (and I don't do sleeveless mostly unless extremely hot). They always photograph them in gloriously hot-looking locations though, don't they!

I would echo Snowy's comment about large sizing @FiddleFigs . Mine haven't stretched that much - or perhaps I've expanded! Haven't washed then yet either which is a bit of a miracle since they're ecru!

That’s interesting @faustina and @Snowyowl78 as the sizing info says the waist runs small. Now wondering if I should try a medium as I prefer the look of the slightly cropped leg.

@MrsRadichio i would, it’s strange because the only other experience I have of LBS is a denim skirt (farm girl on their website) that I bought from Vinted and it was tiny in a large! I would not say that in the Arc pants the waist runs small

So any signs of a sale coming tomorrow? What do the experts think?

I’m not seeing anything shifty going on yet on the website @sonjadog , but I think they got wise to us a while back and we may not get any hints until it happens. My money is on 7pm tomorrow.

@Countmeout Dark olive stripe dress in a S has arrived. This is a much better fit, even the huge collar sits better, although it still needs ironing into place. Definitely a keeper.

Oh good @Theteapotsbrokenspout . I often think you need to try two( if not all the sizes) in Toast to get a fit you’re happy with. That’s why being nowhere near a Toast shop is so annoying.
