Morning! I'm starting a new thread before I go to work as it may get filled before this evening.

I read yesterday that she’s been given the all-clear after her skin cancer so that’s good news for her. Bahrain Grand Prix, the Yorks do all right for themselves!

iknowimcoming · 02/03/2024 21:00

Yes Sarah said she was there to support the Crown Prince! Lol

Maireas · 02/03/2024 21:01

Is he a personal friend?.

I don't dislike Stéphanie's dress - it suits her and the floral print is fairly inoffensive. Put together it's an odd collection of fashion choices though - floral day dress, trousers and feather top, full-length satin skirt and blouse...

Hard to know what the dress code was for this one!

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2024 11:29

The Yorks and the Tindalls at the Grand Prix. Not the best photos but Sarah was pictured talking animatedly to Christian Horner, who also have Eugenie a peck on the cheek.

Personally I'm a bit judgmental about people who attend things like the Bahrain Grand Prix, considering the human rights records of places like that, but I realise this thread isn't the place for such discussions!

On a fashion note, Eugenie must be the only person left on earth still wearing cold-shoulder dresses or tops. Awful.

Maireas · 03/03/2024 12:15

I agree with you about the cold shoulder dress, also - with white trainers? Sarah's face looks a bit strange, but she has been unwell. Tindalls look good.

@Maireas I think they have to wear trainers rather than sandals on the grid. It is possible they wore different shoes and just changed for the grid.

That is a lot of royals at an event, I know Peter is into F1 and worked for Jackie Stewart’s team when he was starting out.

@MotherofPearl It’s a difficult one as so many races are now in places that are ethically dodgy. Lewis and Seb have spoken up and do wear the rainbow etc. but it’s where the $$$$ are. F1 is in a golden period and raking the $$$ in.

I was glad Fergie could tell Martin she had the all clear.

Maireas · 03/03/2024 12:34

Ah, thank you @Sisterpita - I didn't realise they had to wear trainers. Sorry for the error.

OP posts:
Sisterpita · 03/03/2024 12:58

@Maireas not necessarily trainers but closed toed and robust.

Agree - isn't Eugenie an ambassador or similar for a human rights charity? Bit odd Confused

Eaumyword · 03/03/2024 13:39

Oh I so agree - cold shoulder is a horrible look, not a fan at all!
Fergie looks a bit botoxed with surprised brows.
Zara looks fantastic, love her black trousers with the white sneakers.

justasking111 · 03/03/2024 13:46

Qatar is worse.

Joan Collins wears cold shoulder if you're tanned it looks okay. It's difficult to adhere to modesty out there. Long sleeved look. Fergie really should wear longer skirts, that dress length is not flattering

lollipoprainbow · 03/03/2024 13:47

Eugenie and her granny dress yuk.

Yes, but the Yorks tend to forget about pesky little things like ethics when a freebie is on offer. Christian Horner too, yuck.

MotherofPearl · 03/03/2024 15:12

Christian Horner too, yuck.

Quite.

LadyEloise1 · 03/03/2024 16:34

I agree with you @KillingMeDeftIy re the Yorks, freebies and ethics. Sadly

Same here. Quite a pattern.

Disregarding the appropriateness or otherwise of the Bahrain GP, I do think Zara looks fantastic there. Mike going for the pastel colours too 😀. Like the Tindalls, pastels are colours I can’t pull off very well but my DH can 🤷‍♀️

MrsLeonFarrell · 03/03/2024 19:38

I often think Eugenie needs to borrow her sister's stylist.

The less said about the company they are keeping the better.

Sisterpita · 03/03/2024 20:36

I thought this was the one thread I could guarantee Christian Horner wouldn't get a mention as the only thing he wears on a race weekend is the RB uniform. 😂

eggandonion · 03/03/2024 21:35

I have no idea who he is and had never heard of him before the weekend.
The York Princess and Zara both tend to strange necklines.

Horner is married to the woman in white (aka Geri the ex Spice girl.

Gooseysgirl · 04/03/2024 10:26

Oh dear Eugenie not good 😬 In either the fashion stakes or for hanging out with that creep CH.

themessygarden · 04/03/2024 10:53

Eugenie has no style sense, I agree she needs her sisters' stylist to get her wardrobe in order.
