Think you've got problems? Look at my back:(

This is with a 'good fitting' bra and a control vest. Not in the slightest bit fair how wobbly my body is. Size 16 - 18, I wouldn't mind the size if things were firm and Inhate the way these rolls go diagnonally from my back to my waist and that my bras roll up no matter how tight they are, which also pushed the fat out of them.

So sick of trying to hide and trying to dress it into the styles I want in a way that works for my body. Diet is in a good place at the moment, I know weight loss and exercise is the fix but I've been down to a 10 on top before and obviously less fat = smoother lines but the firmness never improves.

Didn't want to wear a blazer with this outfit. Tell me there's a magic solution I can buy tonight!

Feeling sorry for myself!

To be fair, that's a terrible choice of clothing. Not many people can get away with a skin tight white top.

A few years ago I could have worn that but not now. I'm a large 12 and that outfit would do me NO FAVOURS.

MrsMarzetti · 19/01/2024 21:16

That is not a well fitting bra.

Missingmyusername · 19/01/2024 21:18

Get measured properly for a bra.
The top looks too tight.
Swimming and weights?
Sounds so easy! It isn’t I know, takes time and discipline. But a tight, white top isn’t very forgiving- so either you need to size up and go for looser clothing or trim down.

FuckinghellthatsUnbelievable · 19/01/2024 21:22

I’m about the same size as you. I think you need to adjust your bra. I wear triumph smart fit in a 4 which is supportive without cutting me off. Layered up with Spanx bodysuit for special occasions.

MaloneMeadow · 19/01/2024 21:28

You sound absolutely ridiculous.

Eat less. Exercise. Lose weight. Build muscle
You don’t get what you want in this world without working for it.

Nestofwalnuts · 19/01/2024 21:35

I agree the bra looks a bit tight. Can you have it on the wider setting? And looking at your posture, I think you would see an immediate improvement if you worked on pinching your shoulder blades together and standing tall. Some weight training of shoulders, back and sides of waist will also give you better definition and better posture. That top is very thin and clingy and unforgiving. I bet you look fine in a normal blouse.

LadyLapsang · 19/01/2024 21:59

The magic solution is to wear a nice blouse, a heavy silk which drapes well.

Onlinetherapist · 19/01/2024 22:19

@P1nkLemonade I don’t think the flesh coloured top is doing you any favours. Not sure what colours suit you, but dark colours such as black and navy seem to be more forgiving.

Scalessayeek · 19/01/2024 22:33

My recommendation would be to check out the bra or bust website @P1nkLemonade I know you think you’re wearing the correct sized bra but I don’t think you are. I used to wear a 44e but following the website tried a 38g. It looked so much better!

Mummyoflittledragon · 19/01/2024 22:42

No op that is not a big problem. Seriously. If that was my only issue in life I’d be healthy and in the land of the living. Please be happy with what you have.

Noseybookworm · 19/01/2024 22:51

You're wearing a clingy tight top OP, I would go for something looser that skims rather than clings? Longer term, weight training will help firm things up. Maybe have some sessions with a trainer at the gym, they will discuss with you what your objectives are and design a programme for you.

Moier · 19/01/2024 22:54

Go and get fitted for the right size bra .That's too tight hence why it rolls up.

Deathbyfluffy · 19/01/2024 22:59

The other advice in the thread is on point, but the number 1 thing you can do to form up is get to the gym and lift some weights

2jacqi · 19/01/2024 23:23

@P1nkLemonade try wearing a loose fitting blouse instead of a tight top. we all cant wear what we really want because we are overweight for the style, or too short. and dont tuck in a jumper like that it makes overhanging weight more obvious

TheMoreYouKnow · 19/01/2024 23:37

Wear something looser in aa dark colour, not so sheer. Don't tuck it in either.
You need a better fitting bra. Maybe you've gone up a cup size or band? I wouldn't get measured imo it's better to try on various sizes and types andd see what feels comfortable. You'll feel so better and try tops over the bra where you aare trying them to see how they'll look.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 19/01/2024 23:43

Frankly yes there are far worse problems
Like scoliosis kyphosis Lumbar disc disease Sacro illiac joint dysfunction.. I could go on
You need a properly fitting bra and a different choice of outfit!!

soupfiend · 19/01/2024 23:45

Thats exactly why I cant wear tops like that. No clingy fabric.

DrFoxtrot · 19/01/2024 23:50

This is why I never understand those threads where posters say 'I'm a size 16 and wear a 34 back bra', the boob or bust method! I imagine a lot of people would have the same issue. And PP commenting on the seriousness of the back problem - it's the S&B board not Health.

You are being more critical about yourself than others would be OP; a slightly looser, flowing top would look great.

Apologies for giving the OP a reality check re: real cosmetic problems. If she truly believes that having a bit of back fat is the worst thing in the world then she needs it.

DrFoxtrot · 20/01/2024 00:30

I don't recall OP saying it was the worst thing in the world 🤷🏻‍♀️ she's just having a moan about her back fat.

StarlightLady · 20/01/2024 04:55

Hardly a major issue. Try a different style of bra (not necessarily long line, there are other options) and do not tuck in.

Ladyj84 · 20/01/2024 05:05

This is the style and beauty section...I thought it was going to be about bacne lol.

Anyways, of course it looks bad when all your clothes are too small and it's a light colored top, that wouldn't flatter anyone even a model.
