I've just seen this in the T&Cs:

If you return any of the products from your eligible transaction such that your net spend for that transaction on Beauty is below £95, you will also be required to return your gift.

How on earth could they enforce that? What if you've used some of them?!

HundredMilesAnHour · 22/02/2024 17:42

Wictc · 22/02/2024 14:43

Is it reduced? It still says £130 on the website.

Reduced to £117 😀

OooScotland · 22/02/2024 18:33

I would think that Liberty would be within their rights to refuse to refund some or all of the expected amount if the items returned were not as required under the agreement.

Whether or not they would, I don’t know. Stuff like keeping customer goodwill etc might play a part. The odd partial return, likely fine, blatantly returning orders to keep the freebie, refund adjusted accordingly - but really, that’s just a guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

TragicMuse · 22/02/2024 18:57

I've caved and got the All About Her and GWP with my existing credit. This spend now earns me a £10 voucher. So I'm think I'm going to do the next 2 months BD to acquire £50, then spank it on Davines or wait for another GWP.

Reduced to £117 😀

That's the 10% discount for being a beauty club subscriber

Given that this is a thread for BD subscribers, what else would you expect? 🙄

Do you mean to be so rude?

Wictc said Today at 14:43 Is it reduced? It still says £130 on the website.

I explained that the £117 was with the beauty club discount- so it is not reduced- there is a discount on it for subscribers.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 22/02/2024 19:25

@Ametora you need to sign in before you click on the product to get the discounted price.

I clicked on the product and then signed in to get the discounted price.

HTH

Sorry meant if you click on the product then sign in you don't get the discounted price.

You have to log in before adding to your basket

Apologies

Well, if Liberty care to read this thread, here's a prime example of how and why those awful cold floppy gel eye and face masks are not as popular as they might wish - now available as a tub of 30 pairs for £4 on Shein.

I know it's not the same fancy brand, but I'm buggered if I can see where the more expensive ones are actually effective.

I liked quite a few of the products in the GWP but I don't need anything at the moment so I'll wait.

I think they’d just refuse the refund if you didn’t return the free gift pretty much unused

Chocolateteabag · 23/02/2024 06:29

I'm away in Europe this week and can't see the GWP even when I'm logged in to my account
And it's all in Euro's but their website is so crap I can't change it back to £ - so I assume the GWP is only available in the UK?

Try using a VPN, you should be able to see it then.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 23/02/2024 09:33

Does the GWP add to bag? It's not doing it for me, unsure if this means it has sold out or if this is normal.

It automatically added to the bag for me when I’d reached the spend amount yesterday.

CornishPorsche · 23/02/2024 09:45

Doesn't seem to be live any more.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 23/02/2024 10:29

Ah missed out, thanks for keeping me right. It helps as I would prefer to use my credit on non-beauty but the deal threw a spanner in the works.

HDready · 23/02/2024 11:37

Completely missed this GWP, did people get emails about it?

periodiclabel · 23/02/2024 12:20

I didn't get an email, looked yesterday and in the small print under items it said it would be added if you hit the total spend ... It was obviously a quick offload of Beauty Drop surplus. There's just nothing I want from Liberty Beauty atm, am going to wait for the next GWP and in the meantime go in and have a look round for inspiration - and at the rest of the store but they just don't stock products I love any more. My credit may well end up going on dog grooming!

H3lloMums · 23/02/2024 12:41

I was a little tempted by this GWP so kind of glad it's gone - was all old beauty drop but did like most of it, I got an email about it too btw. Anyway unless April is spectacular I'm leaving after then. Hoping there's something I like then to spend before the free delivery expires!

I’m 53 and think of Trinny London as a pretty cheap looking ‘teenage’ brand strangely aimed at older women.

The Trinny BFF cream is great and so is the eyebrow gel.

TragicMuse · 24/02/2024 09:58

I've had no confirmation email, no despatch email, the money is gone from my BD balance and it says it's still waiting for points to add the £10 I've earned.

AND it didn't apply the code for my birthday fiver.

How quickly things have gone downhill...

Hopefully it will arrive!

CarrieMoonbeams · 24/02/2024 10:04

That's not good @TragicMuse , I got the confirmation straight away when I ordered, and a dispatch email on Thursday for delivery today.

Have you tried contacting them on WhatsApp? The link is at the bottom of the page - they replied really quickly when I was asking about a product last month.

TragicMuse · 24/02/2024 13:18

Weirdly it had been delivered! (I was out). It got lots of nice things that I will use.

Weird that there's been no communication at all though. I've checked spam just in case.
