@TurquoiseTurtoise I bought this recently from a charity shop (pockets still stitched) and probably never worn. I really enjoy wearing it and feel it smartens up an outfit. You can always make it more interesting should you feel the need with accessories!

That’s an interesting point, jackets and coats always used to be considered to be two different things, but recently people seem to think they are one and the same.

I'm guessing you don't have pets? I've long given up on black wool coats, even if I go straight from the wardrobe to the front door and vice versa they always end up covered in white hairs...

I love it. I do think it's a shame that we now have to pay several hundred to get a wool coat, when you could get one for from around 80 or 90 only 3/4 years ago, but that's probably a subject for another thread.

I think a jacket is lighter. I'd call it a jacket too. Not a winter coat.
