I like it a lot

petticuliar · 13/01/2024 23:00

Minimal and elegant. I really like coats like this. Coats generally need to work with serval outfits. Crazy detailed coats look bad a little of the time

petticuliar · 13/01/2024 23:04

A lot of the time *!!

I really like it!

Jellybean23 · 13/01/2024 23:12

If you are buying size 16, it's £164.50 at Jarrolds and if you go to the website via Topcashback, you'll receive 1.7% cashback too.

RestingCatsArseFace · 13/01/2024 23:12

I like it but I like classic, understated styles. You can wear it with pretty much anything.

DuvetDayer · 13/01/2024 23:16

It’s timeless, tailored and elegant - absolutely beautiful, OP.

Wrong thread sorry!

Crispedia · 14/01/2024 01:39

V elegant, I think it’s lovely.

LauderSyme · 14/01/2024 01:44

That's a good looking coat with a lovely stylish shape.

2Tired4Anything · 14/01/2024 02:02

Couldn’t agree more. It’s a nice coat but just can’t justify £300.

IHaveNeverLivedintheCastle · 14/01/2024 02:07

OnlyCorrect · 13/01/2024 21:53

Congrats! I'm cold blooded so that looks more like a jacket to me 😱

Same here. I'd be putting a real coat on top of it !

It's nice as a jacket - it's not a coat.

I like it! It’s an elegant shape.

Theraffarian · 14/01/2024 07:46

I like a bit more character in a coat , so finding it hard to get excited by this , but I can see it working for you if you have a elegant muted wardrobe . Apart from the fact there’s only a size 16 left , those sleeves look a tiny bit short for me , absolute pet hate is coat or jacket sleeves that don’t reach the top of my wrists properly.

sashagabadon · 14/01/2024 08:36

It is v nice and good for occasions where you are not going to outside v long. Not warm enough for a walk in the park on a January day!

Thanks everyone
I have tried millions of coats over the years, it is not easy to find something that I like and it’s warm enough - I do feel the cold but I’m in London and don’t travel much during the winter

This is 73% wool and I thought it would be warm enough? I plan to use those warm base layers if I’m going to do anything exclusevely outdoors but then I’d probably be wearing my puffa

When I go out in the winter it is usually on in/out the tube and to places where the heating is on so hopefully I’ll be fine.

I know it is super expensive but I can always return if not good enough and if it is good qualit then it will last me ages since it is so classic

When it comes to coats/jackets I look best if the shoulders and cuffs are fitted to perfection and it it is not too long, anything else overwhelms my frame as a gamine kibbe type. And I dislike big lapels / buttons and too many details - I have a minimalistic style.

Anyone who has lots of AllSaints in their wardrobes - could you please rate the quality over the years?

I love it, especially the high collar. I have the same problem with pets though, but bought a navy coat from Whistles a few years ago that is a different sort of wool, it's sort of like a very smooth velvet so pet hair doesn't stick to it.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 14/01/2024 10:43

I like it , but……….. the way it’s been styled, particularly in one photo, makes her look like a priest.

Purplecatshopaholic · 14/01/2024 11:25

I wear a lot of All Saints, they are one of my absolute Go Tos for most things. I have found that sadly the quality of some pieces has decreased recently, but the price unsurprisingly hasn’t reduced. I bought a dress a few months ago that was shockingly thin and badly made - first time I have had that experience. I wear a lot of their dresses, suits for work and love the style and the brand.
