@AFingerofFudge i think Kilver court might just be closed until tomorrow. I’m sure I saw that on Instagram yesterday. It’s nowhere near me, but I was hoping to call them and see if they have some baskets in their outlet store.
Is Kilver court the same place as Shepton Mallet…that is where someone here told me they had spied the baskets?

Meant to tag @TosstTastic too.

Snowyowl78 · 09/01/2024 09:13

Yes I saw KC (same as SM) is closed and they are moving up to a higher floor?

I got the Ochre scarf today, I’ve forgotten who it was but someone said it’s a very different colour, it is much more brown than it looks online but I think I’m happy with that as it’s more versatile? I wonder if it will be further reduced for any returns, along with the frill colour chambray shirt I’ll be keeping my eye out for the price!

Noeggsontoast · 09/01/2024 09:29

@whinsome my refund was for 1p extra, so an overpayment.

Ah, I wouldn't've minded that ;-) Must something rounding glitch somewhere.

Zeusrules · 09/01/2024 09:38

I too have encountered the 99p issue. I do hope they manage to sort it out as it must be very inefficient to deal with.

Noodle421 · 09/01/2024 09:50

No1Mousie · 09/01/2024 07:53

@Noodle421 yes, that certainly helped me decide!

They’ve just refunded me £30 to match the lower price point. (I bought them for £185). Saves a load of hassle - I would’ve re-ordered them and returned the original pair. I’m pleased.

ScottishMouse · 09/01/2024 11:06

I am going to try calling Kilver Court when they are open again, but could I be cheeky and ask if anyone is going there in the next few days, would you mind looking to see if you can see any of the Hogla baskets (I’m looking for the medium size)? I’d also be interested in quilts if they have any, and you feel like taking some photos? Thank you!

TosstTastic · 09/01/2024 12:31

I might be heading past Kilver Court/Shepton Mallet, it all depends on whether I can squeeze it in enroute!

Will keep my eyes peeled @ScottishMouse .
I will obviously be photo bombing the giant Babycham deer on site as well as quilts and stuff.

ScottishMouse · 09/01/2024 12:37

Thanks so much @TosstTastic!

Snowyowl78 · 09/01/2024 12:58

Did anyone get the one size teal and black shirt? I think I am reluctantly returning it, it’s so big, I can’t see how to style it?

No1Mousie · 09/01/2024 13:08

@Noodle421 oh that's good, it would have been pretty galling otherwise.

@Snowyowl78 is the material billowy or quite crisp? I've been eyeing it up for ages, but like you, just not sure of how to wear it. Think I will give it a miss.

Snowyowl78 · 09/01/2024 13:13

@No1Mousie its crisp, but also billowy because it’s massive! I like the colour and the pattern and I feel kinda cool in it but it does make me look the size of a house. If it were cheaper I’d keep it and work out the styling but it’s still really expensive. I think if you were really tall, unlike me, it would work?

No1Mousie · 09/01/2024 17:54

@Snowyowl78 yeah, that’s what I thought too. Such a shame as the pattern is just wonderful.

OftenOrange · 09/01/2024 18:07

The embroidered skirts arrived and I’m keeping the larger one as the elasticated waist is tight in my usual size. In a M it’s slightly loose but I like that because there’s no bunching and I can tuck in a jumper .
I think it looks good with many of my existing tops and jumpers, so a definite keeper. I choked a bit on the price , but someone here once said they found their best sale buys were these special items.
@PretLea Glad you love it too , now I’m feeling tempted by the cord dress!

Still to arrive , the tie neck ecru silk shirt , and the bright blue stripey cotton dress. I

Another poor refund experience here this evening. Had two refund processed this evening by Toast. The first one was fine. The second one looked wrong and when I checked it was £60 less than it should have been! I've just been on chat and they've been great and said they can see the error and will get IT to refund the extra amount. There is something really wrong here though at TOAST. I wonder how many people won't check and how much money they'll make from all these 'errors'? Grrrrr

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 09/01/2024 20:28

That’s shocking @AmethystMoonShine , at least chat have sorted it for you, but you’re right not everyone checks.

applecatchers36 · 09/01/2024 20:31

That's terrible AmethystMoonShine just as well you checked and how frustrating that you can't just trust them..

Has anyone got the denim garment dyed trousers in the pale blue (green is sold out) they look good but pretty flared, just wondered how people found them?

Trinitybean · 09/01/2024 22:07

Adding to the mistakes in refunds, returned two items and they've only refunded for one. Messaged them by email early this morning haven't heard back yet. Will get on to them tomorrow as the stitch embroidered shirt I was thinking of returning has also been reduced.

Dee1224 · 09/01/2024 23:53

That’s awful @AmethystMoonShine and @Trinitybean These refund errors are really disappointing. I had several issues in both the summer and the previous Xmas sales, so it’s not a one off.

There’s also the issue with Kindred members sometimes being charged for postage and having to fight for a refund, (that happened to me three times in the summer!)

There is something very wrong when customers can’t trust a company to refund correctly- Toast need to sort these issues out.

I sent two parcels back today- 🤞

Stoic123 · 10/01/2024 07:22

A bit of a restock this morning.

Having not ordered any more clothes items since first day of the sale, I've succumbed to trying the check cotton wool trousers that looked good on @faustina and the Indigo Patchwork jacket that someone on here likes so much.

Dee1224 · 10/01/2024 08:10

Hi, lots of stuff I have wanted to try but that didn’t make my first order due to cost, has reappeared this morning!

My first basket was £650🙀. Just reduced it to a slightly more reasonable amount and ordered three dresses - all of which I have had my eye on for months.

I returned my previous orders yesterday, so hopefully refunds will be accurate and speedy!

Snowyowl78 · 10/01/2024 10:27

Has anyone tried the silk jacquard sleeveless dress? Looks rather bulky. Am tempted though.

managed to get a velvet skirt at 5am so pleased with that!

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 10/01/2024 10:27

I managed to order the Crinkle Jumpsuit in a M in the restock this morning, hopefully this will be a much better fit.
I also received the Double Faced Duffle Jacket which I really like. I was looking for a casual spring / autumn jacket and I think this fits the bill. Plenty of room for a scarf as well.
