Fancy US wedding

Dh and I have been invited to a fancy wedding in the US - they are getting married in an actual cathedral! Dh has to wear a tux, what should I be wearing? I’m guessing very fancy?

any thoughts very much appreciated. I’m an athletic build and have an open budget. Tia

I would contact your link to the wedding (colleague, cousin, friend?) and ask for advice about what other women will be wearing. Also, check whether there is a theme colour for the bridesmaids which you might like to avoid.
