Liberty Advent Calendar 2023 Opening Thread

Happy with today’s. Not sure the bracelet is really me though. Might stick it on Vinted!

This year’s calendar is a real treat - so far I’ve loved every drawer. I like the bracelet- it’s simple and pretty. I expect my DD 11 might get it eventually but I’ll wear it for a few days.

@Netaporter I just wanted to say your list of which products to use and when is very useful, thank you.

The Votary serum looks ace and bracelet is sweet (will go into DN's stocking). I have a shocking memory so finding two items was a v pleasant surprise -- after figuring out it was intentional rather than shipping shenanigans.

Today's serum was one of the decoding factors in my choosing this calendar. Great day today. I think this would have been a good choice for the Christmas Day drawer.

We do seem to have quite a few night products.. Seated Queen, Sunday Riley and now Votary.. not complaining gives me an excuse to spend more time in bed! would like a few things to use during the day though

don't want to take today's out of the box because the box is so pretty and makes me feel all christmassy.. shocked by price it had better live up to it being over half the cost ofn hole calendar

It's my first year having the liberty calendar and so far I love it, torn between today's drawer and the Tudor perfume so far as my favourite. I had signed up to the beauty drop and used the credit for the calendar then cancelled it once I'd bought it. Looks like I'll be signing up again!

I wore the mascara out last night, it was nice but not as good as the L'Oréal telescopic that I usually use IMO.

I was pleased with today's serum - it makes up for yesterdays mascara. I won't wear the bracelet as I don't wear gold and unless the rest of it is silver, I'll be allergic to it, but it's quite pretty.

I didn’t get mascara yesterday, I got a face mask? Did everyone get a mascara? Maybe mine is wrong…

So excited to try today’s serum, love everything I’ve had from votary and I’d never spend that on a product unless I knew it was worth it.
Bracelet is nice but will probably end up as a Christmas present because it’s not very me.

£140 for a teeny pot of serum? Oh lordy

I plan to give the bracelet to my niece. I think she will like it.

I tried to put the serum on last night and dropped it 😭
I now have half a serum and blue stained bed sheets.

The SR night oil sorry, not the serum! I'm getting muddled with everything.

@giadaros ohno!!! I was worried putting it on the other night as I was wearing a cream cashmere jumper! I’m stupidly clumsy.

I love today’s drawer. I really like the votary products (haven’t tried this one) and the bracelet is very dainty and subtle. Very cute.

Am I right in thinking that we couldn’t use the serum on the same night as the Luna retinol @Netaporter ?

I was coming on to ask the same question @Gnomegnomegnome - do we use the serum under the oil or keep the two separate? If the latter then I'll keep the serum tucked away until the Luna oil is finished

The bracelets are on Vinted already, rather ambitiously priced

The Seated Queen is for day and night use.

Well I decided to wear the bracelet- so mines not on Vinted 😂

Does anyone else put all of the items back in the drawer ready to open it all again after Christmas? It’s one of my fave things to do in the week between Xmas and new year.

@countdowntonap I do that except the things I plan tongive DD which all go in a little wash bag ready to sort out fir stocking etc.

Loving this advent calendar! Help me with the use of the products though as I'm usually just a slap a bit of face cream on kinda gal! I'm going to look
21 again soon . I've used the Sunday Riley nightly since I opened it (still looking 49 though 😉), do I keep today's product to use separately? Or alternate them? 🤔

I have calendar envy reading this thread. I didn't rate the calendar at all but seeing this thread I've had a total rethink. I honestly don't think pictures or even YouTube videos do justice. Sometimes the smell or the feel of the products make all the difference and you won't get that in video.

I would use the Sunday Riley and Votary products separately, personally. Get maximum use out of them both!

I also wore the bracelet today and actually really liked it!

I am agreeing that this calendar is better than I suspected if that makes any sense. Very strong with the SR night oil and the Votary serum alone.
