Sadly this isn't my bag at all, I prefer much spicier, musky scents (the Tudor perfume in door one is perfect for me, love that one). I might have a bash at selling it, any ideas how much I might list it for on vinted? I've never used it before.

I’d be happy to swap my Tudor one for this one ?

or you could sell on vinted I would think £25 ish?

Gnomegnomegnome · 11/12/2023 10:47

I love this scent although I love too many expensive perfumes!

I purchased both the full size peony couture and the Bohemia from the calendar and Beauty drop. Along with Miss Dior and Chanel number 5 I can’t afford to keep falling in love with perfumes!

I love today’s perfume. There must be something about this brand that particularly appeals to me - one of the very few things from previous Liberty ACs that I’ve gone on to buy a full size version of was their Dear Polly perfume a few years back.

It also took me longer than it should have to realise how to open the perfume bottle.

On a side note I love how perfumes have such ridiculous names. Does someone sit there with a dictionary, or online algorithm, and just put random words together?!

Vilhelm have VERY pretentious names 🤣 If you look online you’ll see they have fanciful stories attached to all of them. I’ve tried a few now (Moon Carnival, Darling Nikki, Morning Chess) but Poets of Berlin knocks them out of the park. I really want to try a few more. But maybe I shouldn’t, because I can’t afford to love them.

moogdroog · 11/12/2023 11:37

This morning's perfume is not for me, though I loved Tudor. Haven't much liked previous testers I've had of theirs in BD either.
It's going on Vinted!

RudolfsLeftToe · 11/12/2023 11:41

@ThreeTescoBags I sold last year’s perfume for £35 on Vinted but I only got round to it in September so there wasn’t any left to compete with. I think now until February anyone who doesn’t like it will be trying to offload it, a straight swap might be better!

PomsRun · 11/12/2023 11:43

There are already some on vinted £20-25…

listsandbudgets · 11/12/2023 13:48

I now have 3 of this brand (4 if you count the tiny squeeze of Darling Nikki I've got left from BD sample. Purple Fig (remarkably normal name) Morning Chess and now Poets of Berlin. Very happy with all of them. Certainly a brand worth keeping an eye on - except I think I've got enough for now Grin

I've done a U-turn since posting this morning. Once the initial massive hit of vanilla wore off I quite like it, took a couple of hours to grow on me. It's lasted really well through the day.

clowniform · 11/12/2023 18:18

Opposite experience to ThreeTescoBags, I quite liked the initial green blast but then it just kept getting sweeter and more powdery. Impressive longevity, despite my best efforts to scrub it off wrists at lunchtime -- still cloyingly enough that I refused a mince pie when offered and was then suspected of harbouring unspeakable lurgy by colleagues. Slunk away in sickly sweet disgrace.

I think there's a career for you in perfume critique for the weekend supplements 👏😂

AnneShirleysNewDress · 11/12/2023 19:16

I love todays perfume. Off to look on vinted!

Isabelle70 · 11/12/2023 21:23

I don't know if I am imagining it but I am sure the lines under my eyes has been reduced since using the Luna night oil and Seated queen serum. Surely the stuff won't work that quickly?

It doesn’t work at all, nothing gets rid of lines on your face that isn’t surgical

BIossomtoes · 11/12/2023 21:36

The SQ serum is excellent @Isabelle70, I’m going to buy it when the sample runs out, it’s improved the lines round my mouth.

lunepremiere79 · 11/12/2023 21:54

I think Luna is working for me, my skin is so much smoother just after about a week. I love the smell too!

Gnomegnomegnome · 11/12/2023 21:57

@lunepremiere79 I love the smell of Luna but can’t work out what the smell is! It’s like plywood 😂

lunepremiere79 · 11/12/2023 22:11

Haha to me it smells more like sesame? I can't figure it out at all but I absolutely love it

RudolfsLeftToe · 12/12/2023 07:34

Excited to try this morning’s offering, loved the hair milk that was in a beauty box so hoping this is just as good. Size wise I’d normally put it in my travel bag but I really want to try this as a possible repurchase so will use later this week.

QueefofSheena · 12/12/2023 08:42

Davines shampoo This is a DOD for me but I'll take it away with me at Christmas as it's a handy size.

I'm never hugely excited by hair products as, although I have hair, I have med-induced alopecia after cancer treatment and generally wear wigs outside the house.

Jellycats4life · 12/12/2023 08:46

I’m never very excited by hair products either. Especially a shampoo with no conditioner. I hope the conditioner isn’t going to turn up in tomorrow’s drawer!

Gnomegnomegnome · 12/12/2023 09:06

I’m pleased with the shampoo. I use them in my gym bag.
I’ve been using Ouai shampoo and conditioner which are okay but not amazing for the price so interested to try this. I liked their other shampoo, the hair oil and the milk so fingers crossed.

Buster27 · 12/12/2023 09:30

I'm on the lookout for new shampoo/conditioner so this is good for me (although as above, I'd like the conditioner too!). Will try when I finish my current bottle as it's nearly done.

clowniform · 12/12/2023 09:45

Davines stuff is too heavy and heavily scented for me, but the name of this one makes me laugh. I know it's meant to be chanted oyyyy-eeeee in a wafty mystical way but I hear it as a holler. (And in passing DP asked if/why it was named for the power button.)

@ThreeTescoBags Thank you kindly. Oi, any Sunday supplements looking for a de-influencer....

Fatlegs46 · 12/12/2023 10:28

I too read OI as Oy! 😂 I’ll enjoy using it, I liked the oil last year and bought it again when it ran out. I’ll probably stick to a supermarket purchase of Pantene after this runs out though!

lozzerjam650 · 12/12/2023 10:59

The Luna is definitely improving the softness of my skin, loving it. And I love the Barbara Sturm cream which I wish I didn't as so pricey. Todays shampoo smells lush.
