As in previous years, this a thread for those opening Beauty Advent Calendars not covered by specific calendar opening threads (though also happy for contents of those to be shared here too).

As previously, it will also be fun to hear about other calendar openings - food, jam, socks anyone?

Please do not include spoilers before 7am on the relevant day. Please also avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance.

I’ll be opening the Vogue and Selfridges calendars this year. Really looking forward to Day 1.

Those tights are indeed quite something.

Love hearing about the wide variety of reveals, including the home made ones.

The Jo Malone sounds lovely; thinking I should seriously consider it instead of one of the multi brand calendars next year (or the maybe the Diptyque…)

@OchonAgusOchonOh the Bobby Brown eye pencil does look good, lovely colour.

Happy with the Bespoke silk eye mask in Vogue today and the mini night cream in Lumene, could have been bigger but both will come in handy for hand luggage items on trips 🙂

Morning all.

By Terry was a hydra-balm lipstick. I'm not a lipstick wearer but this looks like a wearable shade (Dare to Bare- berry neutral) that I'm sure I can palm off on a friend. Retail value -£30.

LF today is a small pot of Bum Bum Cream. I've not tried it and I do really need to get to grips with some body moisturising.

Ciate is a colour called Iced Latte. It's a nice pale beige. I'll give it go but not for a while as I'm currently sporting a red and it's not chipped so far so I won't be taking it off just yet.

Snag day 6. Footless tights. I am having a sense of humour fail now. Sorry. Thank fuck it's only 12 days (and with hindsight I realise I should have done this every other day).

Day 6:

Vogue for me: REN Toning body oil. The first thing in Vogue I’m unlikely to use.

Selfridges: Paula’s Choice Niacinamide Booster. Happy with this, I use a niacinamide serum as part of my routine, but haven’t tried this one.

I don't know the brand as I don't live in UK but do you think everyone is getting the same pair on each day? Or does it seem to be random leftovers packed per size of whatever is available?

Your posts are a highlight of the day for me though, although you are not too chuffed, just so you know I am just as curious as you are for each days offerings 😃

Mascara for me in Ted Baker, not that inspiring but useful. Loving the tights!!! Personally you should do 12 days of opening then 12 days of wearing, if you dare!!!

Just did some googling as I was curious about today’s products for me. They are both full size. The REN retails for £38, and the Paula’s Choice for £47. Reviews for the Paula’s choice are very good too, so now really excited to try it.

Ok, managed to recover my sense of humour and I understood when I ordered it that I might get some weird and wonderful ones.
Looked on their website and found them all- so far all current versions bar My little Pony, which are in the sale. Those are kisses, not acorns.

Day 6 Harrods is a ReVive gel eye mask. I will make time to use this over the Christmas break. An OK day for me but not truly exciting.

Am I the only one to be slightly sad the Snag Tights calendar is only 12 days?
