I use Chanel Base Lumiere when I am going out in the evening (it is a bit full on for playgroup drop off). It gives my skin a nice dewy glow.

yes superdrug radiance balm is VGood

Was just reading this and thought 'aha, I'm sure I have something like that in the cupboard'. Found some Liz Earle Superbalm and plastered it on my face, then read the instructions which say 'Massage daily into nails and cuticles'. Oh well, I'm obviously not cut out for this sort of thing.

At last.

All i ever read is how super-fantastic BFB is, and i have a 3-year-old tube that i gave up on after a week or two because it doesn't work.

Now i find I'm not alone.

Furball · 27/03/2008 10:35

foofi - I've done similar - I got some clarins samples and really loved one of them, made my face all warm and really smooth afterwards. When I went to buy it as it as sooo great, the lady told me it was cellulite gel for hips and thighs!

SilentTerror · 27/03/2008 11:41

I think the Barbara Daly Face Lift is great.
Not sure whether it is a flash balm as such,I use it as a moisturiser/illuminator and it works.
Only £6 too.

Pillow · 27/03/2008 22:36

Used that Barbara Daly stuff, but was a bit meh for me. Apparently Bharti Vyas has a range for Tesco now which is fab. I used to buy her stuff for spotty skin when a teenager.

cornsilk · 29/03/2008 12:42

Last night I used 8 hour cream under beauty flash balm and foundation. Just a bit as it's so thick. It made my skin look smoother although my mascara smudged a bit round one of my eyes. Will defo use again, but maybe with a waterproof mascara next time!

barbamama · 29/03/2008 12:53

pardon my continued ignorance but what do i do with my bottle of witch hazel? Apply to my face undiluted before moistriser and foundation? isn't that going to hurt a bit?

themoon66 · 29/03/2008 12:55

100x.. come back and tell me details of this Electric shock facial thing. I need to know price and location.

I don't know if it works ( clarins )but the biggest difference i have noticed is that people say how well i look when i use it , so it must make a difference
