I have tried the superdrug one and the clarins one. both rubbish. but at least superdrug is cheap. I have v sensitive skin so i don't know what I was thinking... it wasn't good.

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2008 18:40

Well that's neither here nor there Cod. Compared to how she normally looks, when you see her in Cranford, there is a tightness to the skin at the jaw which you might normally see.

[stretches neck]

think you are thinking of the wrong salywalnut

filthymindedlurker · 20/03/2008 18:42

I always thought she looked pretty. But didn'ytlook too hot in Lark Rise...(she is same age as me and I look way less haggard

Clarins beauty flash never made blind bit of difference to me. Might as well use egg white!

PS: got some half price Olay Nature fusion eye cream which seems to be doing something right...I use it all over

NO. It's all external. No botox stiffening or anything. Was good. Is weird because it's like looking in the mirror and seeing what I looked like about 5 years ago.

Those that have had the misfortune to see this blardy photograph have all remarked upon my surprising youthful appearance. [That, and also remarks have been made about how good the photographer must be, and how did she do the lighting etc. lol]

Hopeyseggwasntbig · 20/03/2008 18:44

I got a freebie sample of Oil of Olay serum lsat week, and like it did 5 yrs ago, it brought me out in hives all over my face AND ...... LIKE 5 YEARS AGO, IT'S TAKING AGES TO GO!!!!!!! D'OH! Once bitten huh!? Am currently using Simple.. because I'm simple

filthymindedlurker · 20/03/2008 18:45

well, on my forehead, eyes and mouthy area...It was half price, see, and is very light and my skin looks v nice.

filthymindedlurker · 20/03/2008 18:45

ahundredtimes · 20/03/2008 18:49

No! It's not that good tbh. I just wanted to talk about my electric shock facial

lentengrrl · 20/03/2008 18:50

sawalahalahahala is NOT ugly.

good god. all that feral stuff has gone to your head, woman...

filthymindedlurker · 20/03/2008 18:51

I don't care. I am incurably nosey and not seeing it will make me ill with wondering! D'you see?

BBBee · 20/03/2008 19:29

did she talk to you whilst she did the facial? I don;t like that.

I really like the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, you have to put it on quite thinly as otherwise it goes like a peel off mask. Its great for around the eyes and for setting make up. Put your make up on straight after applying whilst it is still a bit moist. I find this is best.

DloeufyDoo · 20/03/2008 20:08

But think I will try a cheaper one.

come and stroke me,. I have a manky face

Rhymenocerous · 20/03/2008 20:29

Do you get the same effect by putting foundation on top of your face immediatley after putting moisturiser on??

Have a go!

Rhymenocerous · 20/03/2008 20:31

And I know I said I agree with Cod on his cos it has never made much of a diffrence to my skin, but I did notice it once (only once) when a more mature friend used it.

Might have beenn because she got some 'sugar' the night before though for all I know!
