Bo BFB dries like a film sealing in the make up, moisturiser doesn; have this affect.

Rhymenocerous · 20/03/2008 21:33

I mean sex Cod!(It's MT btw)

Pillow · 21/03/2008 00:36

Can I mention a brilliant thing thats not a pre makeup prep? Is from Bliss and called Youth as We Know It i think and is amazzzing if you are like me with combo skin but getting on and need a decent moisturiser. Is all rich and delicious but not heavy and makes you soooo soooooo glowy. Am so combo skin that most of the v raved about stuff has never worked for me as its too rich but this is fantastic. Sorry if completely off the point. Also, I always thought the prep stuff was a massive rip-off. I only ever used bfb as a proper moisturiser.

Surely there is a very easy way of testing if these things work. You just put it on half your face.

I've done this with the Clarins one. Both sides of my face looked equally haggard the same.

Call me when they bring out a Beauty Flash Embalmer.

cod, what ingredients are you looking for inparticular..I have a list here BUT its to long to type.!!

It does contain witch hazel btw...

"the gentle skin tighening benefits of olive extract and witch hazel work instantly to deminish the appearance of fine lines"

Shhhh · 24/03/2008 22:30

btw, I agree with pillow..I have just started using it after my sister bought it for me for my birthday..Its fab..! Also have a face pamper as well iykwim...

Pillow · 25/03/2008 11:33

I too think BFB for eyes is rubbish. They used to do an eye mask cream which was great for looking like you'd had a lot more sleep than you had. Now have replaced it with BFB for eyes. I have been on a quest ever since for something that will reduce dark circles, puffiness etc - even that Strivectin stuff does nothing imo.

redpanda · 25/03/2008 12:46

I like to think that the Clarins beauty flash works, but TBH I don't think it does - it's just wishful thinking. Just feels sticky (or maybe my tube is too old through infreqeuent use).

scattyspice · 25/03/2008 12:57

I had some Boot stuff for birthday. I keep forgetting to use it though . Isn't it just the same as moisturiser? Don't most people just put moisturiser on then foundation straight away? (I do).

Boots one I found far too sparkly for me. The "subtle sheen" translated as cheap party disco glitter. Love love love the Superdrug one in small amounts, but have just sworn off ever shopping there again due to their involvement in Burma, so I am trying to make it last a long time. The politics of face cream eh.

Slouchy · 25/03/2008 13:06
Wink
rosealbie · 25/03/2008 13:08

I use the Superdrug 'Natural High' radiance balm and brightening eye cream. Both seem really good and radiance balm can be used as a mask too. I haven't found them at all sticky and for £3 a go, they are very affordable.

Ingedients in the radiance balm include olive oil, witchhazel and elderberry and in the eye cream rose hip oil, arnica and 'multi fruit blend' whatever that is.

rosealbie · 25/03/2008 13:09

Oh didn't know about the Burma thing.
