I see win your wish list is back.

Thanks for mentioning. Have entered Week 1

PretLea · 02/11/2023 17:48

Thanks @Dee1224 Mostly 6/XS, please

Dee1224 · 02/11/2023 18:08

Will check them out @PretLea

mizu · 02/11/2023 19:06

@Countmeout thanks - I've entered. Please TOAST let me win. I chose the velvet jumpsuit, the insane Chie Mihara shoes and the paper chain kit.

In other news, TOAST Reworn have a few more things added.

Snowyowl78 · 02/11/2023 19:07

ooh paper chain for me! I wonder if anyone chooses the paper chain….

I would like the sandals but there’s no way I could walk in them!

Countmeout · 02/11/2023 19:08

Well I chose the harlequin dress, the orange scarf and the block printing kit. Love hearing what others choose.

I chose the necklace the jumpsuit and the cardigan
I also put my partner down for the men’s stuff

Countmeout · 02/11/2023 19:11

I love the paper chains. I actually toyed with the idea of buying them but I made some last year from a lovely wee book of papers I got in Sostrene Grene. I haven’t got in to see their Christmas things yet, I’m hoping they have some more papers.

@Countmeout they look lovely

PretLea · 02/11/2023 19:35

I’m with you @Snowyowl78 I would absolutely topple over even standing in those heels. Really lovely though.

I also really like the block printing kit @Countmeout. And the paper chain is just beautiful.

Do Toast always do the same Christmas decorations? Do they ever go on sale? So might they have some at SM @Dee1224?

MsDastardley · 02/11/2023 19:37

Just tried my monkey boots again with different socks, and noticed they are a size 39 in a 40 box. They are actually a generous fit, but not quite right.

I’m going to contact customer service tomorrow and ask if they will send my new order out next day delivery for no extra charge. I can add a pair of socks!

faustina · 02/11/2023 19:41

thank you for the Wishlist warning - I chose the little necklace, the scarf and the bowl. Didn't they give the Christmas decorations as a Kindred gift last year? I love mine very much

clowniform · 02/11/2023 19:44

@dudsville Post-dye trousers look so chic now, will need a rebrand. Andre Pandé who lives in a Bleu de Chauffe Eclair instead of a pannier pique-nique? 😁

@MsDastardley Fracap Monkey envy! Why don't brands think half sizes exist 😢

Drab rainy day here so I wore the painted skirt with a bright pink Uniqlo merino poloneck (the shade currently on sale as no-one else likes it 😅) and the COS grey wool jacket. Even fewer regrets buying the skirt full price after checking out the Jigsaw x Roksanda stuff IRL today. That collection's painted skirt was in limp viscose, seams bobbling all over the place and hems embarrassingly rough. The other things on my 'possible' list (leather and velvet dresses) were even worse, appalling quality even though I had low expectations going in based on Jigsaw's previous. Blech!

MsDastardley · 02/11/2023 19:49

@clowniform thanks. I agree. Hardly anywhere does half sizes now. Hopeful, they will be fine with a thicker sock. The pair they sent felt like they weren’t quite cupping my heel, and now I know why!

clowniform · 02/11/2023 19:49

Oh just saw the update @MsDastardley best of luck getting the boots to work for you!

Thanks for the wishlist tip @Countmeout I chose paper chain and block print kits and Chies. (CM used to be my favourite brand when I wore heels... could these tempt me back?)

Noeggsontoast · 02/11/2023 19:54

Thanks for the heads up on the wishlist. I chose the jumpsuit, the shoes and the paper rosette. I love a Xmas decoration. @faustina yes it was last year we had a decoration, I still have mine up over a painting frame.

My toastie outfit today is cornflower blue cord Annie culottes and the block colour wool cardigan from last winter. It's been wild out there today and the cardigan I super cosy. Hope no one has been too badly impacted by the storms.

Toast do similar decorations every year - slight varaitions and different colours.

They had loads of Xmas decs in the December sale last year - I bought quite a few and can't wait to put them up this year.

OftenOrange · 02/11/2023 20:05

@Countmeout P,ease explain the Wishlist thing ,I haven’t a clue !

Stoic123 · 02/11/2023 20:06

@faustina - yes, they saw me coming. One Kindred garland led to a proliferation of garlands, baubles, rosette making kits and star sets 🙄.

I was surprised by just how nice the garland was having thought 'overpriced' before - they are all lovely.

Snowyowl78 · 02/11/2023 20:06

@OftenOrange its a comp on the main page at the bottom, you pick three things out of a list

mizu · 02/11/2023 20:07

Yep, I bought the paper chain set in the sale last year..... they are more silver and gold rather than the lovely colours this year.

I think this year's chain has gorgeous colours too.

@clowniform it’s so sad what has become of Jigsaw. It used to be my go-to place for quality but dynamic fashion about 15/20 years ago. My last decent collab garment was a Jigsaw X Stutterheim rubberised raincoat that I purchased possibly about 11/12 years ago (I age everything by my children’s birthdays). It is well worn (we live in Rain Central) but it is still pristine and it is still current (with its acid orange banding).

@Snowyowl78 @Countmeout Thank you both.
I’ve picked the Harlequin dress, alpaca cardigan and splatter bowl.
Hope someone here wins !
