... V neck tops that cover my tummy but not my hips.
What about you? What would your clothes shop stock?

Cotton dresses in both plain and patterned fabrics, with lining and pockets, in v neck, scoop neck and boat neck styles, and with a variety of lengths of sleeve.

Maireas · 28/09/2023 19:34

White tshirts that aren't see through.

Maireas · 28/09/2023 19:35

Actually, any clothing that isn't see through.
Red clothes. I'm sick of grey, mustard and black everywhere.

Kaill · 28/09/2023 19:36

Size 12-16. The most popular sizes are always out of stock, they only have large or small sizes left. Why don’t they just order more of the popular sizes?

Unicorntastic · 28/09/2023 19:36

The perfect slightly cropped trouser that is artfully gathered over your stomach

mdinbc · 28/09/2023 19:37

Hmm, fun!

My shop would stock good basics; t's in different styles, good basic jeans, cords, trousers, fine knit jumpers. And a section of really cool jackets. Leave the crazy patterns for another shop!

GagaBinks · 28/09/2023 19:37

Normal length tops. I'm sick of seeing something nice and it's a crop top.

OuiRagamuffin · 28/09/2023 19:37

Dresses that go to the knee not the floor or where shorts end

BlueKaftan · 28/09/2023 19:40

Blouses that are made for large breasts, have a v neck and cover a saggy tummy. In tasteful prints. I don’t want any more animal prints.

Lunaballoon · 28/09/2023 19:40

Clothes that fit! Nothing ‘oversized.’ Reliable sizing.

gaggiagirl · 28/09/2023 19:41

Decent basics made from natural fibres.
A rainbow of colours and necklines.
Nothing would be see through, everything would have reassuring weight to it.
All labels would be stamped on and not sewn in.
Pockets would be in abundance and they would be generous.
The moulded cups inside the sports bras would be sewn in.

And that don't gape

Maireas · 28/09/2023 19:44

@gaggiagirl - labels stamped on - excellent point. I'm sick of cutting labels out because they irritate my neck.

This always makes me smile because I wear size 10 and whenever I go shopping it’s all 12 —16 or size 6 left. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s Sod’s Law that whoever goes shopping they won’t have their size left.

tootrueblue · 28/09/2023 19:46

Shoes that aren't bloody Uggs!! 😝

Redwinestillfine · 28/09/2023 19:46

Dresses with pockets, thick decent quality t shirts, zip ankle trousers.

MildlyMiserable · 28/09/2023 19:47

I’d buy all the items in your shop!

Gloriousgardener11 · 28/09/2023 19:49

Jeans that are comfortable and are not made of the dreaded stretch material.

Melissamelisante · 28/09/2023 19:50

Oh yes, jeans that are made of proper fabric and don't sag after a couple of washes!
Tops that remain the same shape and don't 'swivel' over time making them impossible to iron.

Britpopbaby · 28/09/2023 19:51

Stripes, lots of stripes!

Pebbles16 · 28/09/2023 19:51

Pockets, lots of pockets... and access to a decent and not overly expensive tailoring service so those of us who are 155cm can get:

  • trousers that are of a decent length
  • dresses that don't have necklines below your boobs
Resentful2023 · 28/09/2023 19:51

Clothes for small framed people with big bellies/boobs. If it fits my belly and or boobs, it's gaping on my shoulders, flapping on my thighs, etc.

CaptainCallisto · 28/09/2023 19:51

Tops that come in two or three lengths, like trousers. At 5'11", I'm so sick of never being able to find t-shirts or blouses that actually sit where they should! I seem to spend my whole life in tunic tops because I don't want my shirt to end above my waistband.

Yes! I also am top heavy so my boobs take up the length too

Samples only, in a plethora of sizes, lengths and fabrics. Customers come in, try stuff on, then place orders for their specific requirements, to be made up and shipped separately. Like a prescription glasses model.
