Kates in Leeds today ..gorgeous green suit

Even me, with gert big flappy bits of flesh can look as though I’ve got definition on my arms. Biceps mainly. With the right light. And a bit of a squeeze.

Admittedly they don’t look as magnificent as her arms do. Not even nearly. They never have. Not even when I was fighting (literally) weight.

The woman has worked super hard on them. Fair play. I’d have them. But I’d have to have the rest of her figure as well or else I’d look most odd.

Well I've been and gone and done it.

I've got BANGS. Long fringe.

Looked gorgeous in the hair dresser. By the time I'd walked three streets back to the car in windy rain. Then faced more going in and out of ASDA and got home it had kind of wilted. 😢

Hair dresser showed me how to do it at home though.

The much discussed curtain fringe? Very exciting!!!

Leti is very thin, and very toned. I don't think that's a huge issue and actually, it's very hard to build that much muscle if you're too thin and I agree that being too toned is NOT a thing.

Love love love the colour of Kate's suit.

And shes wearing a chunky gold necklace with it. A quiet “hallelujah” from me for some actual accessorising…

Another trouser suit 😴 BUT I think she looks great and it's the only one that I've liked recently. And although she has a million coats in the shade of green, it really does suit her

That link necklace is such a thing at the moment. Tiffany are pushing it hard. I have one from the dark ages 30 odd years ago that has sat in the safe gathering dust. Perhaps I ought to pass it on now.

Trouble is I have two DILS 🙈

I like Kate's hair today, it looks less "done" than it did at her last few events.

I suspect it looks less done because of the weather 😂

Love Kate's suit. Great colour, good styling. I think Leti's dress is lovely but could do with being a touch shorter and maybe lighter shoes. She's got amazing arms!

I see from Kate’s visit today that a small part of the answer to what happens to her voluminous wardrobe archive may be that items get donated to various places. The Mill she visited today have a dress she wore while pregnant with Charlotte on display, as it was made with fabric woven by them.

This reminded me that a friend travelled on a cruise ship that had been officially launched by Kate, and told me they had in pride of place in the ship’s atrium a display with the outfit that Kate had worn for the ceremony, plus photos of the event.

I wonder if some notable outfits also get donated to the Royal Collection, or the V&A (the gold James Bond dress, maybe?).

Would be lovely to see a full display of her evening dresses one day.

TOTALLY agree @MotherofPearl, cowl neckline is always a great look on Sophie. This is the nicest fit of dress I've seen on her for awhile.

The Fail had a Reiss version of Kate's suit which I think would've been a banger. Ive recommended it to Dsis (who has Kates figure) for her first day in her new job.

I'm Sophie's shape and loathe cowl necks. A boat or v neckline looks so much more on point.

Sophie looks great - and so does Charlene. Prefer her blonde!

Also enjoying the low glamour factor of the PoWess in a print works in Lancaster. Good hair, good clothes, thoroughly British Royal Diary. The more Princess Anne they all become, the more I like them. I want sausage factories and Big Hair, I want emeralds at a visit to a rural sorting office, I want dark green coat dresses down a forgotten allotment in Lincolnshire.

Charlene's top isn't asymmetrical enough, IMO. There needs to be a lot more difference between the two sides.
