Camilla looks marvellous in that navy gown. I like that look on her, and it's an excellent backdrop for the sapphires.

@Serenster 😂unfortunately, that took me down a Jagger internet rabbit hole. I'm still trying to work out all the kids and grandkids...plus great grandkids!

I feel very sorry for Mme Macron. So much attention on the fact that she's older than him. So much pressure to look good in a very looks focused society. I do hope she gets to relax sometimes and do whatever the French equivalent is of watching Netflix and eating ice cream in pyjamas. She looks massively stressed in these photos.

You make a good point, @SqueakyDinosaur - I think it must be hard for her. Yet we were just talking about Mick Jagger - 44 years older than his girlfriend!

The sapphires are quite something. Apparently it's the George VI Sapphire Necklace. And I'm sure he looked lovely in it too!

Camilla’s dress and cape are custom Dior - very diplomatic! The strong breeze as they posed for pictures definitely helped too - she looked lovely.

Camilla is stunning. Definitely tiara hair, though. Too bad (for us) it's not a tiara affair.

Yes, he gave the sapphires to HMQ (or Princess Elizabeth as she was then I guess) as a wedding present.

Cams looks fab again, wow, she's having a real moment with a very elegant wardrobe lately.

Has anyone claimed those sapphires? If not, I think they would go with everything for me.
I had curtain bangs as a teen in the 70s.

Loved the Dior gown tonight with the sapphires.
