I think you’re on the money there, about the fabric of the loose trousers being make or break. I like Mary’s because they are softer and flowier (word??😆) and not just oversized, too high waisted tailored affairs.
Not in that league at all, but I have a summer pair with a floral ish pattern that look ok I think, but I hadn’t made the link at all with the tailored type because the effect is so different.
I don’t know whether I like the cape or not. At some angles it’s fab, at others it’s like a bag of rags tied in the middle.

I sort of like EBG's look. The colour is lovely. I think I'm about 80% on board. Not fully convinced by the wide trousers.

I like that France has a teenager for Education minister.

My son has bought me a poncho sweater it's open at the sides but has long sleeves sewn in. It's gorgeous.

Not exactly a royal wedding but Downton's Lady Mary has married! Her dress is Emilia Wickstead but I think they have done her a disservice. She looks very happy though.

Yes, I saw that, I don't think that the fit was great. She's also done that weird thing where the veil comes out of the back of the head, it never looks right. She's beautiful, though. She reminds me of an extra Middleton sister.

Two pigs with a dropped waist. Not flattering at all when you have an four hour glass figure.

I let my concave stomach say tata when I battered the menopause. I would have looked as though I had Lady Edith down the front of my frock although it is possible she wouldn’t have been able to carry out bridesmaid duties there.

I’m torn about the pink suit.

I'm really not keen on Char's asymmetrical top. I'd go as far as to say I find it upsetting. But then I really dislike asymmetry when it comes to clothes.

I quite like some asymmetric pieces, but this one looks strange, as if a sleeve is just missing! I don't think it works.

Poor Char! I do like her hair, though. She suits blonde.

I really like Charlenes' hair blonde, it suits her so much better. The top is very strange though.

I'm loath to criticise another woman's figure but I would suggest her arms are too toned.

I would not put it past the Mail to photoshop her arms to make them look more sinewy than they actually are, just to invite negative comments! Her arms look fine in all other recent photos.

Quite. The Mail revolts me. As for the whole "mother-of-two" line they always use for women.

I don’t believe in the concept of too toned. Letitia, like Kate, has the body of an athlete. I admire both their dedication!
