What everyday trousers are we all wearing that aren't leggings or jeans?

I'm wearing leggings far too often and jeans make me feel so hot, looking for a comfortable everyday alternative!

And it's a bit late in the year now to buy any for this year, but linen trousers.

I always wear linen trousers in the summer when it's not quite hot enough for shorts.

But I prefer a tailored pair rather than the loose, floppy, drawstring waist ones which make me feel a bit old-fashioned!

Chinos and parachute trousers.

I like the look of those - do they crease badly/need loads of ironing?

For round the house/casual, cargo pants.

For work, wide legged black trousers, I’ve got some from John Lewis.

@VeloVixen I don't think they crease any more than any other chinos. I always iron my trousers anyway. I don't think you could get away without ironing them.

They are a very slouchy wide fit. But I love that!

I'm quite short and wide leg trousers although they look so comfy just look awful on me. I'm drowned by them. I have tried on so many pairs to no avail. I also find jeans way too hot and they feel so rough. I just want comfort these days.

I've ended up with some trousers that are cross between chinos/sweatpants/cargos/not exactly sure but they call them joggers but really aren't. From M&S stretchy and comfy.

I buy all my trousers from M&S, I have so many of their chinos and the pink joggers above. I need petite length so they suit me really well.

Smart causal - Max Mara chinos

Those M&S wide legged ones with a stripe down the side with trainers and a t shirt.

the M&S joggers go out of stock and come in quite regularly. So look every few days and you will probably pick up a pair.

I have a pair of those M&S joggers but they make me feel really frumpy. Has anyone found anything similar that has a slightly slimmer leg (these are quite wide fitting on me even though I've got chunky legs - the cuff is very loose). Plus at 5"2 I really struggle with lengths.

I have ones similar to these, they are really light material and super cool. I wear them with slightly chunky sandals as I'm short and a fitted t-shirt and feel comfy and presentable.

I wear denim jeans all year round, as they're comfortable as well as practical for my lifestyle. It's possible to get lightweight denim for warmer weather and for colder weather you can go for heavyweight denim with a pair of tights underneath for extra warmth (something I remember from my motorbike days of forty years ago).

Oh I like these (I know it's not the exact ones you have but I like the general style), where did you buy them?

I got mine locally at the market but seeing these I suspect the market seller imports from Shein because these look exactly the same as mine!

Good grief, £155 for trousers that look like something you could pick up in Primark. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Primark by the way, but £155?!
