It's weird ... I've loved getting the Beauty Drop Boxes and have been signed up over a year now so in a way don't miss the £ leaving my account. I've got (to me , anyway!) a small fortune of credit built up.

Problem is I'm so used to shopping for bargains or getting a gift of some sort if I pay full, that with Libertys higher pricing I'm struggling to feel happy spending it Confused

I adore some of the perfumes we've had in bye boxes but the prices to buy are eye watering. The Frugal Fannie on me has a problem with Not Getting Value For Money!

Anyone else similar?'

BIossomtoes · 15/11/2023 09:56

The concept of not getting value for money goes out of the window for me with Beauty Drop. As far as I’m concerned whatever I use it for is free!

QueefofSheena · 15/11/2023 10:00

How much did last year’s jewellery AC go down to in January? I like some of the items in this year’s but not all, and it’s far too rich for me at the moment even with my BD credit.

Babysharkdoodoodood · 15/11/2023 10:24

Can we use BD credit in store? I'm going to pop in on Saturday

Twinsandsome · 15/11/2023 10:56

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the p50 lotion that’s now where my bd money goes it’s fantastic stuff

Yes, but I tried to use mine at the Maria Tash counter and they couldn't get it to work so I had to pay up. I bought a separate MT piece of jewellery online a week later with it though!

Absolutely but I guess old habits die hard Grin

D20 · 15/11/2023 12:07

Tarot Woo down to £56 which is a shame because I spent all my BD money on DH Christmas present to get the loyalty points.

redredwineub40 · 15/11/2023 13:09

Jewellery Ac went down oooh about 70 percent but I missed the final discount and it had sold out - someone on the threads got it though!

QueefofSheena · 15/11/2023 13:26

Thanks @redredwineub40 I don’t expect it to be such a bargain this year but 🤞it’s going to have a decent discount. I’ve decided that I’m going to use my BD credit on jewellery in the sales if there are any decent bargains. I won’t need any beauty products for a while.

When do the vouchers for the AC spend get emailed, or have I missed it? I can’t find one but I should have £10

Yes!! I bought some jewellery in the sales the use up some of my credit which I actually really love so I'm hoping the same this year. If it's the sale then it's a bargain right! ;)

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 15/11/2023 15:58

That's what I think I'll do Grin

MabelStark · 15/11/2023 18:39

I've just spent a lot of my credit on the Darling Nikki perfume. I've loved I since it came in the Beauty Drop box and I can't keep buying samples from Vinted. 🤣 I had a voucher towards it too so it wasn't as painful a price with that and the discount.

narniabusiness · 15/11/2023 19:52

Good choice@MabelStark. I’ve been using my sample for special occasions only to make it last.

The next round of loyalty vouchers will be emailed in January.

In the interests of research I was going to pop into the new Sephora store at Westfield yesterday on its opening day and report back.

But the sight of about 100 people lined up in barriers to even get inside the door put me off. Sorry!

That’s my plan too. Really love it.

supadupapupascupa · 16/11/2023 10:35

I've ordered the mercury retrograde kit (taro woo) but I only want the shampoo and conditioner. Planning on putting the rest on Vinted unless anyone here would like it for £35?

Lotsofpots · 16/11/2023 12:57

Spent some of my vouchers and BD on one of the LE eyeliners, lipliners and some of the OTTO sleep oil. And purchased a Le Labo perfume as a gift, all in the quadruple points, so looking forward to January!

lapsedbookworm · 16/11/2023 16:16

I've bought a bracelet and a necklace in the past week Blush. Both I told myself I was going to save for Christmas gifts to myself and then cracked and opened as soon as they arrived Grin

going to try and be restrained for a bit now ...

AgingDisgracefullyHere · 17/11/2023 11:31

I am not sure what I'll get. They have a lot of stupidly expensive stuff. I may get hair products as they have some I'm interested in. And maybe some Jones Road. But I don't want to spend silly money on silly products that are no doubt nothing but packaging and prestige.

Splishsplashsplooshsplosh · 17/11/2023 13:42

That's insane. Who's going to spend £5k on an advent calendar??? If I was spending that much on jewellery I'd want to bloody choose which bits I was getting!

A rich husband who has no idea what to buy for their wife.

The mistress has asked for a Chanel handbag.

Oh look, a 12 days of fine jewellery advent calendar. A snip at five grand 😅

https://www.libertylondon.com/uk/12-days-of-fine-jewellery-calendar-R555476006.html

I'll hold out for that one at 70% off in January!! Some hope, I doubt that they've produced many of them Grin
