The AB Rich Cream is pleasant enough, but they have some nerve selling it at £200+ per bottle when they give it away in every advent calendar and beauty box around!

MavisMcMinty · 09/11/2023 08:18

OMG! £200 for that, when I could buy 3 of this week’s QVC Elemis TSVs for the same amount?

£225 for 50ml! It’s outrageously overpriced.

Just seen Liberty have a quadruple points offer until the 14th.

BCSurvivor · 09/11/2023 10:09

@MavisMcMinty I've just looked at the small print, and I think the quadruple points and £10 voucher is for Liberty collective customers only.

MavisMcMinty · 09/11/2023 10:12

Ah. Is the BD different, and can I join the Collective as well?

Jellycats4life · 09/11/2023 10:13

Liberty Collective is just the points card, right? Usually called Liberty Loyalty. Or is that something separate?

BCSurvivor · 09/11/2023 10:16

@MavisMcMinty i'm really confused.
Liberty Loyalty is definitely different to Liberty Collective, but the 4 x a year vouchers are the same.
I'm trying to see if it's free!

BCSurvivor · 09/11/2023 10:19

When I was signed into Liberty just now I put the Sleep kit in my basket and it said it earns 350 points.
Is that quadruple points?

Frazzgirl · 09/11/2023 10:29

Speaking of crackers. Look at the cult beauty ones. They would make lovely presents the Self Care one has Seated Queen in x

Pinenu · 09/11/2023 10:55

I don’t get on well with all of this points and percentages nonsense. Just reduce the bloody calendar 😂

No. The 'bonus' points get added up to 10 days after your purchase. 350 points is the 'normal' amount of points.

I just used the offer to stock up on Hourglass Lip Oil (and get a bonus free mini mascara).

BCSurvivor · 09/11/2023 11:20

@HundredMilesAnHour thank you x

supadupapupascupa · 09/11/2023 11:35

Arghhhhh ALWAYS!!!!! Didn't £125 delivered yesterday

I'm so grumpy

supadupapupascupa · 09/11/2023 11:35

Spent not didn't

Back21970 · 09/11/2023 15:54

Daft question but if I use my Beauty Drop stash to buy stuff do I still get the extra points?

MavisMcMinty · 09/11/2023 16:46

Not a daft question because I don’t know either.

I have yet to receive any Liberty vouchers after buying three kits with “my own money” and the AC using my BD credit and £100 of my own money, maybe I just missed the cut-off for October?

My October loyalty voucher arrived on 2 Oct so it sounds like you missed the cut-off for October.

Yes, you should be able to use your BD credit as that's effectively cash. Make sure you check which brands are excluded from the points offer though.

SarahC50 · 10/11/2023 15:45

I don't rate the Augustinus Bader cream at all. It's far too thick and no real scent. It doesn't feel like a luxury cream to me at all. I've bought the liberty AC and I really hope it's not in one of the drawers,I'd be v disappointed

listsandbudgets · 10/11/2023 16:23

@SarahC50 If it is in there ( amd honestly I'd be surprised if it wasn't) I believe it can fetch a good price on Vinted

I like it because it’s not scented. It’s a good night cream. Not £200’s worth of good though!

TragicMuse · 10/11/2023 18:26

I so want a mini hot water bottle. But not enough to spank £70 on the sleep kit!

Whereas I love it. I noticed a visible difference in my skin after using it for a couple of nights.

I felt this way, so I bought a mini hwb on Amazon for a fiver, and the feeling went away ☺️

I mean, of course it’s the Liberty aspect that makes it special — but I’ve got so many washbags and other Liberty bits that I realised I was mostly just wanting a small warm thing.

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 10/11/2023 19:26

I like the AB cream too. Not enough to purchase at full price, but it works nicely on me.
