The perfume smells terrible on me - notes of hot petrol

The perfume reminds me so much of something else I own, but I can't put my finger on what. Something from Penhaligon? I will probably end up gving it to ds, as it's fairly masculine on me and I have so much perfume that I really don't need another that I don't absolutely adore. The drydown is lovely though, I do like a good tobacco frag.

On another note, I so wish that perfume houses would do these mini bottles as standard. For perfume obsessives like me with a ridiculous number of bottles, less than 30mls is just right.

Looking forward to the Bader cream and the cuticle oil is perfect, non-greasy and absorbs brilliantly.

I love the smell of the perfume! It doesn’t smell like petrol on me but petrol was one of my pregnancy cravings. Really pleased as I need a new perfume and it’s a decent size.

Very nice luxurious box but god that perfume, just no. Why must everything have that yucky gag-worthy top note?

Mine just arrived. Quite like the contents although haven’t tried the perfume yet.

Probably could have done without yet another AB Rich Cream though!

Perfume haters send it this way I love it , it's settled on me like some kind of really good quality, old fashioned soap - I know that dosen't quite explain it but maybe someone understands!! It would be nice to have something a bit more feminine another time though.

Very pleased with everything else though the cuticle oil may go to DD as manicures aren't really my thing. The mirror is so pretty and I've never actually tried Augustinas Bader so its a new one for me.

But why the mask -again? I mean I quite like them but we do seem to get a lot of them

Perfume is ok - but I don't tend to wear perfume very much so I have a massive stockpile. I don't like the mirror - feels cheap. Cuticle oil - useful and probably the best thing in the box for me. Another bloody sheet mask. More AB cream.

But skincare is my absolute favourite, so that's probably why I'm not as keen on this one.

For some reason my box is heading to my old address – despite the last two boxes coming to my new address... I haven't updated any details either... Has this happened to anyone else?!

Mine is out for delivery. Read the spoiler, on paper I should like the perfume. Great point upthread about offering fragrance in smaller sizes.

My box has just arrived and I'm really pleased with it. The perfume won't be one of my favourites but I get through loads of perfume and will definitely use it. I was surprised at getting such a good size. I like the little mirror and the only thing I won't use is the mask - I've built up quite a collection of masks now! And I've carefully opened up the box and turned it inside out so I've got a nice pretty little storage box.

This is the best box yet for me. I love the scent and really appreciate a decent sized bottle. I must be in the minority of people who has yet to try the AB cream and, at that price point, really hope I don’t like it! The cuticle oil is lovely and also a generous size and our little granddaughter will love the mirror. I’m happy.

And impressed with myself that I didn't find out what was in it ahead of time.

Guys, don’t discount the mask straight away - hydrogel masks are lovely, and a pleasant change from bog standard sheet masks! For the sake of a single use, 20 minute item, you should give it a go.

AB The Rich Cream is an advent calendar stalwart so a bit boring, but it’s pleasant enough and good for the upcoming winter months.

Mirror is cute. My ADHD brain can’t keep track of the ones I have scattered across different bags, so it’s useful to have another one that I’ll lose as well.

Have sniffed the perfume yet. I probably won’t like it which is a pity for such a generous size. 25ml is huge! I am getting tired of the trend for marketing masculine scents to women. I’m not into smelling like a bloke.

I'm not keen the perfume. It smells like Debenhams to me. Will leave it for a bit and see what it's like once it's settled.

Really pleased with this box (apart from the perfume which smells of men’s aftershave!). We could do with a more feminine/floral scent next time!

The fragrance reminds me of a Penhaligon's too. Could be either Quercus or Halfeti?

My box has been languishing at my local depot since 6am with no hint of being updated to out for delivery, so I'm expecting it tomorrow.
I'm glad there's a perfume, although I was expecting the perfume to be a Liberty sampler, seeing as Liberty is launching their own range officially this week.
Very glad there's not another cleanser, as I have plenty of those!

Very pleased with this, my second box.

I'm happy overall - but given they have just launched the LBTY perfumes and put a leaflet in the box, why no samples of the new Liberty fragrances? Not even a scratch & sniff? Seems like a missed opportunity to their target audience especially with Christmas coming up.
