Love that jumper @mizu - I like the hat too.

Dee1224 · 17/09/2023 22:55

@mizu - it was busy when I was circling too. I didn’t bother taking more than one item as my sister said that the circle events were usually pretty poor in her opinion. I am regretting that now 😿Having said that, staff said it was an unusually good turn out so I think maybe we were just lucky.

That skirt looks lovely, btw!

Firesideknitting · 17/09/2023 23:26

@mizu, that jumper is lovely, the colours are beautiful…

dudsville · 18/09/2023 09:32

Wearing this one today. It has a belt but I prefer it loose. I used a little of the belt to raise the v neck a bit. I'm laughing at how often I show you all my feet. Once I course what I'm wearing I then run around getting ready to leave, but I do wear shoes! I'm wearing brown bostons with matching socks and the bracken neat cardigan if needed. It's warmish here but dreary. What's everyone else in today?

@dudsville , looking lovely: I don’t remember that dress (which is unlike me as I forensically remember all of Toast’s back catalogue 😀).

I am going to wear Toast denim dungarees today with a Toast teeshirt. I bought them BNWT on EBay a few weeks ago but it has been too hot to wear them until now - a grey day here in London with a chance of rain.

I bought that dress on the FB page and loved it so much I tracked down the blue version too! You look lovely in it.

Looking great @dudsville I must make more effort to wear dresses again, I’ve got loads now but I go through phases when I just don’t wear them.

I received my easy tees today, the blue is lovely but the carbon one seems bigger and thinner. I compared them to one I already had and the carbon is definitely different.
My Lydia jumpsuit should have been delivered today as well but that seems to have fallen into a RM hole, hopefully it will come tomorrow.

dudsville · 18/09/2023 11:08

It was called palm print @ToastCosILoveIt , I think, I've misremembered a few names recently, in a sale for £60! I didn't know there was a blue @ilovecherries, do you have apic?

I didn't wear dresses @Theteapotsbrokenspout until relatively recently when I learned that they're as comfortable as wearing nightdresses. So now I'm frequently a little overdressed but inside I'm thinking "mmm, pjs"!

This one. It’s called ONO palm leaf print. They also did it in red but I feel I must draw the line somewhere 😂

@dudsville Couldn’t agree more re: dresses, I wear them most of the time because a) comfort and b) no matching stuff together. Also, I think it’s easier to look different because you’re changing the whole outfit with each dress. We’re going on holiday tomorrow and I’ve only packed dresses - 10 in total. Takes no time to pack or choose what to wear.

My cotton/linen tie neck 3/4 sleeve t-shirt in navy has arrived and I’m really pleased with it. I’m planning to just wear it with pj bottoms, it’s fabulous and a bargain. If the cream one appears in the Xmas sale I’ll definitely buy it.

ilovecherries · 18/09/2023 11:31

Photo too big. Will sort in a minute.

The sale seems to have finished early, I was going for one last browse and it’s already gone! Probably for the best!

Saurus72 · 18/09/2023 11:37

Ha, same @Snowyowl78 - looking forward to the October drop now.

Snowyowl78 · 18/09/2023 11:39

@Saurus72 im sure it said 12pm! I got the pebble vest this morning which is a keeper, which I already knew as I’ve tried it before. Waiting for dispatches on others!

Countmeout · 18/09/2023 11:43

Thanks for the photos @Dee1224 . Always good to see the colours and what they’ve put them with. Sounds like a successful trip.

I think you’re wise to hold on to the jackets @AFingerofFudge . I think you’d regret it later.

You definitely needs the culottes @ilovecherries . Envious you’re going for 5 whole weeks. I’m in the Malaga area about the same time . Will wave if I spot you in Toast.

@mizu that jumper more and more each time I see it.

I have that dress too @dudsville . Also a sale buy. You look terrific in it. The only thing that annoys me about it is that the sleeves don’t go easily under a cardigan or jumper.

Royal Mail surpassed themselves and delivered my sale orders a day earlier than they predicted.

Space check shorts. Keepers, I am keeping the small , xs just a bit neat and medium too big. Love the length of them. In fact love everything about them. Think these are allegedly the new sizing.

Slub cotton tank in Coal , I thought I’d be sending this back but like it with the shorts although it’s spendy for a tank . Actually would buy this in brilliant white if they did it, it’s a great replacement for my Boden tanks which are discontinued. The pebble in it as going back. Not my colour. Not much difference between the sizes.

Towel is a more generous size than expected. And I really like it.

Birkenstocks in Taupe. I like these but do I need them?

@Countmeout I’ve got the Birkenstocks in taupe- they work well as a neutral and I’ve worn them all summer!

ilovecherries · 18/09/2023 11:59

My sale returns are already back at PO, very disappointing haul but good for the purse. I see the sale has already gone too, expected it to run till the end of today. I kept the shorts, which I knew would be fine, the navy swingy linen shirt and the blue striped linen tank.

otherwise - Navy dress - looks lovely on others, on me it was all ‘get thee to a
nunnery’. Had ordered an easy tee in every colour - didn’t like any of them and none felt they were sitting properly. Slate poplin sleeveless top - felt huge everywhere except round the armholes where it felt they were rubbing. Lydia jumpsuit - too big and was slipping off one shoulder. And I had tried the non-sale purchase of the striped poplin skirt. The medium felt huge and I hadn’t realised it wasn’t a functional drawstring so no potential to pull it in.

As soon as you said it was the Ono i tremendous or @ilovecherries ! It's such an easy dress to eat. And you're always really suit you too @Saurus72 .

Snowyowl78 · 18/09/2023 13:13

@ilovecherries oh dear, which navy dress was that? I felt the same about the poplin top, the armholes were touching my armpits, unpleasant.

3/4length sleeves and a chest pocket, gathered waist? They did it in a hazy check over the summer and a pale green. Lots of people here looked fabulous in it. I did not.

OP posts:
Countmeout · 18/09/2023 13:35

Sorry the poplin skirt didn’t work for you @ilovecherries . You may have had a faulty one, mine pulls in , it’s one of the reasons I kept the size I did as I sure I could pull it in if I lost weight .

Yes they’re a nice neutral @Snowyowl78 , I have a tan coloured pair and not sure I should keep another pair.

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 18/09/2023 13:46

Sounds like a good toast circle visit @Dee1224 although frustrating you didn’t have enough tokens.

Loving all your pictures, and I really like that stripe dress on you. I’ve got that blue lounge wear dress, I was lucky enough to pick it up on vinted. It is a strange shape at the top for any of us with a bust, there are some comments about that on the reviews for the other colour.
I wasn’t sure I would keep it but I’ve tried it on again since the weather got colder and I really like the material.

Firesideknitting · 18/09/2023 13:48

My sale items have arrived, everything is a keep, the Alfie linen trousers are a tad short for hubby, but it’s not a biggie as they at least won’t get scruffy on the bottom.. as well as he will mostly wear them at home .. but everything is a win for us …. Very happy

Dee1224 · 18/09/2023 13:52

That dress really suits you @dudsville !

Glad your towel worked out @Countmeout. My third olive/mimosa towel arrived today, (this time at sale price), and is finally a good one. It’s staying but I will use as a wrap.

Thanks @Theteapotsbrokenspout - that striped dress is now firmly on my wishlist!
