Agreed. Sold out as well. These gems are very hard to find in store though. Like panning for gold.

Just wanted to join in and say thanks for the heads up, I’m a long time admirer of this lovely thread and a toast sale shopper based in denmark.

have just ordered from my wish list

the shell skirt and flotsam bikini bottoms and on a whim the navy linen jumpsuit.

the rest of my order is full price stuff to try, just enough to get free delivery and then most likely to go back with any sale returns so I only have to pay 15 euro postage once. Daft really, but I am excited for the enamel salad bowl - hoping to keep that 😊

Nice to know there are others from Denmark on here!

I ordered it, and hope that it is not exactly like the Pond. I have the Pond in XL, which is rather big, but the L was to tight over the bust. I hope the Trapeze is a tad smaller in XL

@BettinaInDenmark yiu won’t regret that coal tank, it’s the best tank ever, I have it in a large and have worn it all summer. I also ordered the pebble version last night

Thanks for the prompt - I remembered seeing that tank in a shop and thinking that it looked better in real life than online. Now ordered to try on.

I got free delivery because I bought for more than Euro 350 of not-reduced items. Normally I pay Euro 25 for delivery, and Euro 15 for returns. That really did hurt last sale, as I had 7 deliveries, and something to return from 6 of them. As the customs declarations are made for each single delivery, it is not possible to bundle them, unfortunately.

Toast - or their courier - takes care of the customs declarations, so I don't pay any extra tax or fees. But the prices in Euro is 1,5 times the prices in £, which is totally ridiculous.

Years ago I could buy from Denmark and pay the prices in £. But well before Brexit this changed.

My very first order (the space check shorts) at 14.22 hasn’t dispatched but my later one at 6pm dispatched this morning.

I ordered the ikat skirt and jacket. Looking at the orders I've placed, so much is me trying things out rather than coveting them, but I know that things I've coveted haven't in reality suited and things I've bought on a whim have been great successes so I have no idea what will be kept. I've ordered the arizonas and can't imagine I wouldn't keep them. But out of 6 tees I know they won't all suit/fit. The egg blue trousers, trapeze, alder and orange and midnight boatneck dresses are all wild cards. And the bikini is an endless ridiculous idea, and who knows, this ikat outfit might just be unsuitable too!

@BettinaInDenmark I feel for you with those prices, I spend a lot of time in EU and can’t bring myself to order from there. I think the prices are higher because duty is factored in , then a bit more on top.
There’s so much fantastic design in Scandinavia , I’m intrigued to know what it is about Toast that you love . I’m guessing timeless/ eccentric/ quality fabric and longevity ?

Hi, I am still thinking about the Maeve Kelp. I know I have asked before, but does anyone know if it’s tts and if it’s skimpy across the chest? (It looks like it might be very tight there.)

I am trying to avoid too many orders due to cost, environment and the problems I have had with refunds, but I really want to try it.

@BettinaInDenmark great! It does seem like it’s possibly a bit neater than the pond, but so tough to tell, isn’t it.

Was it @faustina who mentioned that the sale was quite a strange selection of items, and noted the absence of knitwear and jackets? I had the linen cotton sweaters on my wish list, hoping they would come up for sale now. Also, those neat linen jackets? And then that coral print halter neck dress has been omitted too - which seems like an oversight somehow. I’d think that they should really do a second load of new items before the end of sale?
