Things that you suspect you’ll never find in your search for the ‘perfect’version?

What ‘perfect’ version of an item have you given up on?

For me it’s the perfect Bretton stripe cardigan and jumper.

foundation. Tinted moisturiser feel. Dewey but not greasy. Your skin but better. Does not sit in fine line or pors. No perfume. More skincare than makeup but still makeup. No perfume. Does not feel on the skin. Covers roseaca but not heavy, still skin like.

Expensive but this might fit the bill. I’m on my third bottle.

Just a light foundation that can cope with both open pores and fine wrinkles on mature skin.

Aluminium free deodorant that works and doesn't leave white marks on clothes.

Non-underwired bras that can cope with larger boobs but aren't the size of a small t-shirt.

Comes in about 3 shades but it's so sheer that you don't really need such an exact match.

For the non underwired bra, Curvy Kate has some good ones. I like the Scantily Indulgence which works for me as a J cup.

Have you looked at Laura Mercier Eye shadows and sticks? They are fab, and the sticks are foolproof with amazing colour pay off that lasts all day on me without budging.

For the eyeshadow try Wisdom by Trinny London- Soft neutral taupe and one of my daily staples

For those looking for a leather version of the fjallraven. I currently have this which is not perfect but has a few key features of the fjallraven
Good: back pocket and front pocket, full opening almost to bottom, light, nice leather quality
Bad : only one top handle, no side pocket, rounded top instead of squared off

black flat fronted wide leg, but not too wide leg trousers in a natural fibre. Not t-shirt material. With no pleats at the front. That are long enough for me (I'm 173 cm).

I default to an ancient pair of Jigsaw wool ones I have but I want something slightly less smart for day to day wear.

I've been looking for some of these for several years. Pretty sure they don't exist unless you want linen, which I don't.

I have wide leg wool trousers from Cos and Luisa Spagnolli (sp?). Cos are long and generous on the waist. LS long but only good up to a UK12.
