Stitch fix to close

I'm a bit gutted for them. I think the idea was good but somehow missed the mark. I sent all my last box back but have had great nuggets of items in the past. I liked having it posted too.

I asked for dresses and maxi skirts. They must have loads of jumpers! If anyone wants to buy, all open to offers.

My final box was awful - sent it all back!

I've never used Stitch Fix. I filled in their initial survey once out of curiosity but never took it further. From this thread they seem mostly to sell their own uninspired and uninspiring own brands. I've never heard of Sugarhill, but the jumpers on here are grim.

I hadn't heard of Aldo either but it does exist as a brand. There are sandals very similar to the ones you've been given half price at £40 on the brand's own website.

@NatashaDancing this one is poor - I've kept it because I had some credits and the Sugar hill jumper seems to sell well on vinted. The last one was excellent, a Hobbs jumper, Moss dress, Hush top, FC coat and Mango coat. They must be at the end of the stock now.

I think I’ve done quite well on my last box. I looked it up in advance and thought it looked very dull, but everything fits nicely and the blue trousers are excellent quality. The loafers are £54 in the Aldo sale right now so £85 for the box seems like a good deal, as I’ll definitely wear it all for work.

I only got a box every three months, and didn't know until last week they were closing.

Like others, it's been very hit and miss. Some of my favourite items are pieces I would never picked myself. I'm also another discoverer of Sugerhill Brighton thanks to them.

But sometime I think they shove any old thing in. They sent leisure wear a few times, everytime sent back with a note saying, I don't wear leisure wear. Low and behold, another pair of joggers in the box and priced at 50 quid!!

I thought I might have done that but it’s definitely been back to them because they have reseated it with the stitchfix tape !

Oh dear, looks like there are going to be a lot of people selling the green sugerhill jumper with stars on the arms, which is a shame as I got that jumper last year and was thinking about selling it this year as its not quite my colour (lovely and thick and good quality though).

I’ve actually got 2 Sugarhill astrid jumpers in different designs, I like that weight of them and don’t get in so well with the thicker more jumpery type ones. I think of them more as long sleeved tops, if you see what I mean.

So mine has finally dispatched and it doesn’t look as bad as I feared. A sugar hill jumper, superga pumps, some court stilettos, and some shorts and skinny jeans. The shorts are questionable, and the sugar hill jumper isn’t really my style, but the rest looks decent if it fits- let’s see!

I sold mine in 48 hours so there's scope to sell more yet.

I just got my Lookiero box and it was not at all good. Worse than anything I ever got from Stich Fix. I think this my third Lookiero box and the previous boxes had some nice things but mostly bad. I’m currently a 16/18 and I feel like they only stock pattered, shapeless atrocities or plain basics in my size. Stitch fix had actually pretty much nailed my shape and style so I am feeling very sad and will have to consider going back to actual shopping 😢

It’s a bit budget isn’t it. I’ve got a nice scarf but some hideous jeans and an utterly hideous grey cardigan/ jacket that I can’t imagine looking good on anyone.

Due in two days but not feeling hopeful.

My last stitch fix is due tomorrow. Looks like two dresses. A jumpsuit. And two jumpers. I’ll see what they’re like!

So, after declining my last box, I took a chance and emailed them to say if they have any size 6 clothes left, could they do me a fix? And guess what? They have and are sending me a box out!!

I don’t know whether this is good or bad so late in the day….

That is weird! Sounds like they're unable to cope with the surge.

I’m really pleased with my last box. It’s random bits in my size, but there are a dress, jumpsuit, and jumper which a love. A dress which I like well enough. And a mumsy jumper but for the 70% I’ll keep it as the colour is nice even if it’s boxy. Can’t argue with £280 of clothes for under £100!

Last ever box! I would have loved some of the jumpers everyone else seemed to get. I’m a size 12, and been sent size 16, definitely at the end of their stock. Really not a fan of the shirt, but the other bits I can cope with. And doesn’t seem worth sending back

Jeans and no flowery patterns asked for. All gone back!

My last box finally arrived. A leopard print jumper, a pair of brown trainers, a sweater dress, a pair of cargo pants and a black velvet jumsuit.

I’m worried about mine mow, especially the sizing!

I asked for jeans as well 😞

Final box arrived yesterday - jeans (nice), Sugarhill Brighton leopard print jumper (wasn’t sure but put it on and actually quite nice), a very meh flowery top, an ok midi dress and a really nice jacket. I’ll keep the lot as the jeans (£46) and jacket (£75) are more than if I buy the lot with the 70% discount (£83).
