I'm a bit gutted for them. I think the idea was good but somehow missed the mark. I sent all my last box back but have had great nuggets of items in the past. I liked having it posted too.

Box finally despatched. Not inspiring but not terrible.

Jeans, a casual top, a blouse and a couple of jumpers.

My last box finally arrived. A leopard print jumper, a pair of brown trainers, a sweater dress, a pair of cargo pants and a black velvet jumsuit.

And? What's your verdict? @AnneShirleysNewDress ?

redribbonrose · 13/10/2023 07:50

Has anyone found s good alternative?

Im getting spam from outfittery

freetheunicorn1 · 13/10/2023 08:03

I am actually quite impressed for a last box. The blouse looks a lot nicer that the picture, the rest is decent enough. Will keep due to the discount!

I was really pissed off with my last one. They sent awful, totally cheap, nasty rubbish that I wouldn't be seen dead in. I sent it back and emailed them, to which I got a snotty response saying they basically didn't care and would still charge me the styling fee. Not happy

Cyclingmummy1 · 13/10/2023 17:22

@freetheunicorn1 they must have hundreds of the striped jumper, I've got one too

It's ok, not something that would choose but I will wear it. If if just my WFH days in the winter. All 5 items for £63, I'll take it!

Dellabob123 · 16/10/2023 10:38

Box has been dispatched!!!

had a quick look at the first item in checkout and it was a forest green needle cord shirt dress in my size!!!! Which actually looked lovely…

I shall report back when it arrives.

Dellabob123 · 17/10/2023 10:38

Mine arrived this morning. All items actually are quite nice on. If my maths is correct, all five items would £324 and 70% discount would make it £98. Is that right??

But I have a million green jumpers. It’s nice on. I have skinny jeans but these seem nice. And the Brodie top is surprisingly nice tucked in. Although it’s no longer summer..

My question is about the trainers… anyone know anything about the brand? They fit and are quite nice.

I've just got a box from Lookiero; which I've used a few times before and found them to be mostly less good than Stitch Fix ever was but I thought I'd give them another go.

I'm pretty sure I said on my note I wanted jewel winter clothes but I can't 100% remember.

Anyway, I've been sent a very pale green jumper, a oatmealy beigey cardigan, a blouse with a blue background (just about borderline winter) with cream and fawn abstract patches on, a pair of indigo skinny jeans and a pair of beige suedette ankle boots. For those that know these are not jewel winter colours with the exception of the indigo jeans. But do I need anymore skinny jeans? Not really. And they are £62 so not cheap.

Overall the items (if I hadn't given them the brief) seem (at best) reasonable quality and soft but sooo drab and uninspiring. Nothing about it says "ooh I could never have thought to choose these items and been so brave!" Or anything.

Disappointing. Come to think I do remember getting a box before Christmas and hoping (asking for) to get some fun party stuff and it was dull, dull, dull. That was before I was colour analysed.

Anyway, I added this post for anyone interested in trying lookiero. Far and away below their best.

tobee · 30/10/2023 21:29

PS I do feel like Stitch Fix and Lookiero have had a strong element of "if in doubt, throw in a pair of jeans!"

Chewbecca · 30/10/2023 21:31

I had my first Lookiero recently and was really pleased actually, I kept 3/5 items. I also had skinny indigo jeans which I didn’t want but they are actually the most comfy and flattering I have had for ages. I also loved a navy satin top.

What confused me is I had no preview of the items or the opportunity to reject before they were sent - have others had this? Is this supposed to be a step?

tobee · 30/10/2023 22:43

I thought it was a newly introduced feature but I never look because I always want a surprise. Can be risky!

And as I say I've often liked my Lookiero boxes a lot previously.

I'm glad you enjoyed yours @Chewbecca

PhillyJoe · 31/10/2023 00:35

I had a preview for my next Lookiero box and there were some truly awful suggestions - frumpy, shapeless blouses. I rejected them so hopefully something better will arrive. I’ve had a few good things from Lookiero previously but my last box all went back.

Do you get 10 preview items and you choose 5 as per stitch fix or how does it work?

PhillyJoe · 31/10/2023 17:32

It was done in outfits with some of the clothes in the outfit ticked. You can change the colour of it comes in more than one colour option. I’m not sure how many options were there in total.

Chewbecca · 31/10/2023 18:34

I didn't get a preview, no. But it is included in their 'step by step' process.

Fallulah · 17/11/2023 15:00

Just had a message to say my Lookiero is finally on the way. No way of seeing what’s in it and I didn’t get a preview/chance to pick things like I used to with Stitch Fix. Not holding out high hopes so far!

RachelGreensHair · 17/11/2023 16:32

I've had 4 Lookiero boxes and I've ways been able to preview the items. Have you not got an email like the attached?

Pandorapitstop · 17/11/2023 16:49

I’ve had an email from stitch fix to say that my items are being selected and will be delivered on 25 November. But I think I would usually have had a preview by this point so whether they will actually deliver I will see.

CaveMum · 17/11/2023 17:05

I had my first Lookiero last week. It was awful! The quality was shocking and it all felt very frumpy. Definitely not inspired by them on that basis!

Fallulah · 17/11/2023 17:14

@RachelGreensHair Nope, the only email I got was this…

@CaveMum My latest Lookiero was dire! Exactly as you said, poor quality and so frumpy. I miss StitchFix.

Northern12345 · 22/11/2023 09:55

got the email about outfittery this morning - does anyone know anything about them?
