When I put it on I was a bit surprised I never wore it because it actually goes with quite a lot I have. Maybe I bought the things it goes with more recently. It’s very soft too although def a neat fit compared to other Toast shirts. It’s a medium and I def couldn’t go smaller.

Its been so warm here today that I have been wearing my Flotsam dress , bought in the AW22 sale.. First outing! 😮... I really could have done with it when I was away in the van in 35deg NL earlier this year.

We'll be going to Northern Spain with the van again in September.. I think that I will take it along ....hopefully warm weather .

No real new Toast news except I bought a classic Toast Denim shirt on ebay a few days ago which I am very pleased with .

Have you noticed the new edit feature? Well, it doesn't include adding forgotten photos!

Ohh - picture? Love a good eBay bargain. We are still hoping to go to Spain around the same time as you. I’ve been pointing out to DH that on the ferry I won’t have a baggage limit!

Hello, lovely you are back !! You perhaps need quite a bit of time off to catch up … As far as the scarf goes , I’ve decided you can’t go wrong with olive - it seems to go with everything, and so cosy for winter.

I saw the olive cotton canvas bicycle bag in the shop and I’m tempted. It’s a bit lost in the house and home section online. It’s not just for handlebars, it doubles up as a cross body bag which sits comfortably at the front and also slung sideways on the hip. I was thinking how well the colour sits with almost everything. It also looked great on a customer who came into the shop when I was there trying on. Anyone got it ?

@Noodle421 thank you, so lovely to be back. Yes, it looks just perfect to go with my green coats. I’m also shock a bridesmaid in October and my dress is green velvet. I think the cashmere scarf should be excellent to keep me warm under the trees for the ceremony! I’m also going to sneakily wear my fracap hiking boots.

Yes to the bicycle bag, that looks ideal and a great match with the olive. It looks very practical as well as stylish.

I can’t think of a better reason why to buy the olive cashmere scarf !!

their Ines de la Fressange A/W drop today.. I have ordered this Denim shirt/jacket
They have a nice padded jacket also and some cashmere wraps

@Laska2Meryls I've just been looking at that padded denim jacket, I think it's lovely especially with the checked interior. I also liked a few other things in that range including the pintuck shirt.

Anyway, heading to Cambridge shortly and visiting Toast this morning, so shall resist for now.

I love the padded jacket also but have similar already.. (atm being tempted by the checked cashmere scarf ...)
There are several other nice pieces..esp like the black denim wide leg trousers..

Gosh they sold out fast! I see that Toast hace reinstated their Toast circle rails in some stores ... Assume then that the ' donate to us for free' initiative didn't go down that well then .. 🙄

Has anyone ever ver washed a black Lydia dress? Just wondering if it shrinks? Over the years I have ordered and returned it several times but it keeps calling me back. Trying again with medium (def too big) and small (fits well but doesn’t have any shrink capacity)

Catching up on the thread, it’s been a busy week.
I have news on the new drop - September 1st is the date. I was in a store yesterday and was offered this info without even asking.
I also saw that the circle rail was back and I managed to pick up a lovely dress from it. I can’t find a photo online of it, but it is a navy and mustard check long sleeved shirt dress (with collar). Slightly worryingly, it is a size 14, and is a few years old. All my other shirt dresses are a 12, and some of my older Toast dresses are a 10! Anyhow, I am very pleased with it. Brought in the dark green fan print viscose dress in return - I had picked that up in a previous swap, but had only ever worn it once.
