Gold hoop earrings - tacky or classy

I've got about £100 to spend and was thinking about gold hoop earrings because I thought that they are timeless but at the same time I think they could be tacky! Anyone got any nice ones?

My hoops arrived today. I ordered them a few days ago inspired by this threat.

I love them. I won't worry about looking chav.

I think it’s about time we dropped “Chav” from our vocabulary. It’s dated and derogatory. We always find so many words to be rude about the choices of others.

I went on a YouTube fashion binge last night and I'm not kidding, 100% of the influencers I watched were wearing gold hoops.

All proponents of the very neutral, classic, somewhat bland look on trend now.

I love hoops. I prefer silver to gold and I generally like smaller hoops but big hoops can look lovely too.

There's a pair I saw recently and they seem to think that every 'millennial' outfit upgrade needs to change most of the outfit followed by "add some gold hoops". I doom scrolled half a dozen of their videos and every outfit is "add gold hoops and gold accessories to bring this outfit up to date".
