A busy afternoon on here with the new drop.

Just had opportunity to go through the latest temptations. I love that Batik poplin skirt especially with the sweater they've paired it with that's not on the website yet.

Also loving the dotty crepe in ginger, but more inclined to the blouse as the dress is quite summery and I'm starting to think of autumn. I also like the forward seam trousers in russet.

I'm very pleased with my navy duffle I bought last year on Vinted. Brand new and unopened in the manufacturer's original wrapping, 100% wool with wooden toggles for £40. I was hugely lucky.

I’ve just given in to it. My wardrobe is so full of blue. When I try lots of things on, it’s always the blue one that looks best on me.

@Noodle421 it was the bargain of the year! The Toast duffle is what I call a Max Mara price.

I'm a blue fan too, always drawn to it and has always suited me best. I nearly had a blue wedding dress.

Oh yes.. @Stoic123 .. Thats kind of put me off now.... One thing I have always (did) like (d) about Toast is that they didnt use China for manufacture ..What with that, the leg pockets , the fabric change and now this, I am getting a bit put off those trousers now even before they arrive ....

Rats, I'm liking the AW drop far more than the late summer clown drop.
Will need to decide my priority as am only allowing one skirt/ dress and one knitwear from each drop and given the prices now will have to stick strictly to that unless sale.

My wish list has gone weird, it’s got some random items in it from the sale, but when I click on them it says 'The page you were looking for has been moved or no longer exists.'

Off to see my mum for a couple of days. It’s quite a nice day for once (ie not wet!) but there is def an autumnal nip in the air here.

I have beautifully constructed Toast pieces from years back that were made in China. From what I know of the garment industry, it's the shift to Bangladesh and Vietnam that reflects attempts to cut costs and loosen up on quality control. But I'm not positive if the post pandemic situation is quite the same.

(Speaking purely in craftswomanship terms, other political and ethical considerations aside!)

I debated that tank but I thought the neck looked a tad to high for me so I didn't try it even though I had it on my wish list since it was first on the website.

Just caught up with the new drop, fortunately the only things I fancy are the batik skirt and ikat wrap jacket. But I really, REALLY fancy them. Like, full-price fancy.
Also love both men's coats 😍I hope this means they'll do another women's version of the houndstooth raglan from last year, in 100% wool.

Really fab outfit @ilovecherries Are they the poplin trousers? I tried the navy in store, then bought in the sale and sent them back. I wish I'd kept them now! I did keep the green version of that tank though!

Well it hasn’t rained here today . Wearing the tank from last year over a chambray non Toast dress and my Hal jacket as I had to go out.

The tie front poplin top arrived and unfortunately it’s a keeper. I think it’s navy, looks great with the cupro rust skirt and I imagine it’ll be great with other things. Just had a quick try on. I bought the only remaining size , small, and I don’t think it’s that much different from the old small. I just hope I get the striped skirt in a later sale as it’d make a great outfit. (and I am too tight to buy it at full price).

I’ve ordered it too 😆, also in the Small following on from your earlier conversation about it. I also thought Nikki looked great wearing it with the striped skirt in the recent video - so effortless, simple and stylish. I hope I don’t suit it because it was never part of my plan ! I tried the white version on last year but visually it appeared to ‘drag’ my bust down so I didn’t buy it but I think someone on here suggested the tie can be tightened which raises the V, so I’ll give it another go. I love poplin and have a shirt in the same blue/black so I know the colour will work.

@Countmeout Glad you like the top , funnily enough I have the same tiered rust cupro skirt you posted earlier, so shall try them together.
That little top has become my go to for evenings out , usually paired with Ikat skirt or linen balloon trousers and worn untucked.
The cupro skirt is also a real hero piece for me, I love it so much.

I’m really pleased with it @OftenOrange @Noodle421 . I tightened the tie so it came up a little higher. This shape is a much better shape on me than the sleeveless poplin tanks with the tie necks which I have. I would love it in other colours. I have yet to try it with trousers. I’m so glad I bought it.
I love the swishyness of the cupro skirt.
