Thoughts on this coat?

I love the style on the model, the leisurely coolness about it- however I worry I will end up looking like an elderly ( I’m in my mid 40s)

Yes and I'll probably dress differently than I do now, and that's ok. Not sure why its ageist

Why do people use old lady as derogatory? If you're lucky enough to get through Sniper Alley you'll be thanking your lucky stars you're an old lady.

OP it's just a normal,everyday coat, if it's going to be useful and fits nicely then buy it.

It's really, really boring. It only looks nice because the model is beautiful and it suits her ... on anyone not a beautiful model it would look crap.

I suppose you set the tone for some of these responses OP.

You won't "end up looking like an elderly".

You'll end up looking like a mid 40s woman wearing a non-descript, dull jacket.

I think it does look good on the model actually. But on anyone who isn't a model it will look like my DMIL.

I love my DMIL, and she looks amazing for eighty two, but she's not my style inspo.

I'm not sure there are any waterproof coats with hood that look great tho. I'm after one if any other bright ideas
