@dudsville - I think Pond looks lovely under a jumper, on its own and with a tee underneath, (thank you to whoever it was who said that’s how they were wearing it!)

I love my Pond dress so much - yes, I know it’s got a flaw on the front, which is a bit noticeable, but my first instincts back when I tried it on in March were right - mine, mine, mine🤣

Today I am wearing my eBay purchased striped tunic top with 3/4 sleeves and little pockets. It’s very small - sold to me as a 10, but actually an 8 on label😱. It looks good with my ancient jeans from Anthropologie.

It’s perfect for the awful weather we are having here and I have convinced myself that it looks ok very fitted. It’s lovely thick material and I do like a bargain!

Ive got my toast linen tunic top in black coffee on with a pair of 3/4 length white stuff skinny jeggings. Not sure what I will put on my feet today as it is very wet! Might just shove on some Toast stripey socks and my dm oxford shoes. Have the opticians today!

Or I might brave my sandals [ fracap]

I am wishing I hadn’t sent back the copper linen dress. I should have tried it with a tee under or a shirt/jumper over the top before making a decision.

I am also wishing I had done the same with the gingham checked linen - I had a migraine when it was here, which I think affected my decision 🙃

Love your holiday photos @ilovecherries . Is it the skirt that’s voluminous? I think it’s a similar cut to the Fir which is. Hat is lovely.

I’m in the navy linen top - the one that was matched with the fungereek balloon trousers online. Zara cream trousers that are so comfy I can’t get out of them at the moment, bound to drop something on them soon though.

Just got the tie necked t short material top in navy this morning which was such good value I now have both colours.
Waiting on the Poppies dress on Monday.

nothing in the new collection is a must have at the moment. Maybe Septembers drop will be better.

The weather is so poor. Sick of rain this week. I want to be in proper summer clothes.

Thank you @never, I just watched it and thanks everyone, I have ordered it. The idea of pairing it with a navy over top/jumper hadn't occured to me that's a nice idea, I have that, also have a dark grey that I also think would look good, both colours are better next to my face than this fenugreek colour and gives the added positive of wearing something cute that doesn't have a wasit band!

I was back int he denim pinafore today withthe firewood cord jacket as it was the perfect weight for the mrning walk, but now I'm in the ticking stripe trousers with a bracelet sleeve top, ready to go digging through my wardrobe for things might be able to part with.

Last night at my local pub a I saw a lady wearing the navy and white batik square print dress. It looked lovely. I never see people wearing Toast in the wild where I live.

I'm wearing Seasalt cotton/linen soft teal dungarees with a striped top with a Toast painterly style jacket/over shirt, fracap sandals and Kate Sheridan bag.

Heading to Woodbridge for lunch and a pootle so will stop by uniform research who stock Toast, Sideline, etc. for a wee browse.

Wet and thundery here today - one for lounging at home with books and Mumsnet after a long and soggy day at the Great Yorkshire Show yesterday.

Toast outfit today is the Suki panelled denim with a loopback jersey (Aegean Green). Slobsville in comfort.

@dudsville I have both of them and the chocolate ones are old so old sizing and the navy ones are new sizing. They should probably make this more explicit!

Of all the Toast stuff I’ve amassed for wearing here in Southern France , my favourite pieces this year are:

Best without a bra, airy and so unusual , great with white MH shorts. Looks kind of comical with linen balloon trousers though , on theme for circus!

The best casual slouchy trousers , the creasing is acceptable compared to other non Toast linen . Wear with the slate poplin top Nikki wore in last video.

Bought and returned, then bought again 2 days later . Just the best dress ever ❤️

We’re pushing 40 degrees now and any resolution I made to cover scrawny arms has gone to pot !

My last sale order (draped linen dress) has arrived and is going straight back as it's the wrong shape for me. Thought would be the case. Sale is now closed for me but will enjoy reading about your late orders.

Total sales damage is just under £800 (exc bed linen - separate pot) which I'm comfortable with. In the end, I've kept:

• 4 pairs trousers - Maple Herringbone, Diamond Block, Blonde Cord Culottes & Suki Panelled Denim (Uniform Research sale)
• 2 dresses -Ticking Stripe & Cotton Cashmere
• 2 jumpers - Collared Mallard & Rae Truffle
• Grey Zermatt slippers; 2 pairs of socks and a bento kit.

Most delighted with the Rae, most pleasantly surprised by Diamond Block (for very hot days) and a special mention for the Falke boot socks. It's been fun - thank you all!

Thank you. It’s this one. I have alopecia and couldn’t wear hair in this heat, so it’s ideal. It’s a nice tight weave and also shields my face. I had multiple skin cancers removed last year, including one that needed a graft, so I’m ever more cautious than usual and need shade as well as SPF.
