Hello again! Thread 33 or something!

Checking in too, thanks Cherries. That last thread filled so quickly with our sales talk.

I ordered some Jessa dungarees from eBay today. I wondered if it is any of you selling them?! They are brand new without tags. I tried them bc on in a London Toast about 3 weeks ago and I've been dithering about Toast dungarees for years so I've taken the plunge. I think their dungarees are fairly true to size. They should fit because I tried on the exact ones in the store.

dudsville · 03/07/2023 19:59

Ijust read the last of the previous thread so wanted to say this before i catch up on here and forget... You can return different items from 1 package over a different labels. So say you ordered 5 things in one order and you want to send back 3, put in the order number, select your 3. The next day you decide you don't want the 4th item, you put in the order number and only options 4 and 5 are available, so you choose the 4th. Then the next day you decide to send back the 5th, put the order number in and it will be your only option anyway. Don't ask me how i know! Now, to catch up!

dudsville · 03/07/2023 20:05

Ah, i missed you commenting at the end of the last thread @ilovecherries , my apologies, and thanks for the new thread! I feel the need to say "this will be the greatest thread ever", just because it was the perfect typo.

I tried the cashmere dress and top in previous sales and didn't keep them, but i got the trousers in this sale and it's like wearing heaven.

Saurus72 · 03/07/2023 20:35

@Stoic123 The cotton cashmere dress is really lovely, so soft and cosy, I wore mine a lot during A/W. I bought my usual Toast dress size 12 - I found it ‘reliably oversized’ IYKWIM.

faustina · 03/07/2023 20:41

Thanks dudsville - and that dress looks lovely on you @Saurus72

MiracleToast · 03/07/2023 20:55

I so wish I had bought the dress. I may chance a Medium if before the sale ends.

dudsville · 03/07/2023 20:55

That's a perfect fit in you@Saurus72 , makes me want to try it again...

TerrierOrTerror · 03/07/2023 21:01

Still haven't purchased anything during this sale but starting to feel an itch...

Stoic123 · 03/07/2023 21:03

@Saurus72 - so much love for the dress. It is on the way😀

Stoic123 · 03/07/2023 21:03

@Saurus72 - you look fab in it btw.

Dee1224 · 03/07/2023 21:55

Looks lovely @Saurus72 !

Dee1224 · 03/07/2023 21:59

I am so mad with myself for returning the small chalk round collar tee before checking the fit on the medium I ordered instead. The medium is far too big and, although the small was a bit small, it looked better.

It’s going back 🙃.

I am not very happy with the socks, either. It looks like they have been tried on. Do people try the socks on? (I don’t know Toast sock etiquette as have never bought them before!)

clowniform · 03/07/2023 22:02

Hello Toasties,

Happy to report the crinkled check pinafore dress has arrived and is a keeper! And miraculously long enough, not that awkward just below the knee point where a lot of Toast 'midis' hit me. French seams everywhere, except the waist (where it would be wholly inappropriate anyway).

The check dress is wonderful on you, @Saurus72. I'd overlooked it on the model but now hoping it'll come back in stock in my size.

OftenOrange · 03/07/2023 22:51

Is there anything I’d want if we get Final Reductions ?
My old dad used to say that nothing is cheap if you don’t need it , but he never read this thread!

dudsville · 04/07/2023 07:47

I know better than my say "nah!" With any degree of confidence @OftenOrange, I'm a sucker.

applecatchers36 · 04/07/2023 07:54

Posted the bryn green floral dress back, tried it on a couple of times . It was shapeless on me and now am waiting for a couple of returns to be refunded. Still looking at sale and have a bikini in my basket!

Alpacasoft · 04/07/2023 08:11

That dress looks lovely on you @Saurus72
I'm a toast 10 and have ordered the medium, toast recommends and no small left.

I think I will be layering this with a black merino polo neck underneath so we shall see .
I've just had a Kindred email and it tells you what the Kindred gift with an order from the new collection is.
Have to spend over £150.
I won't spoil the surprise for those who may not wish to know!

Countmeout · 04/07/2023 08:54

That dress looks great @Saurus72 .

Looking at my new season saves so far

Fayre top https://www.toa.st/collections/womens-new-collection/products/fayre-stripe-organic-poplin-smock-celtic-blue although the word smock is putting fear in my heart with my chest size.
Fayre dress https://www.toa.st/collections/womens-new-collection/products/fayre-stripe-organic-poplin-shirt-dress-celtic-blue
these socks

This cardigan I’ve decided I have a hole in my wardrobe for a cardigan https://www.toa.st/collections/womens-new-collection/products/wool-cashmere-raglan-cardigan-olive-melange

not rushing to get anything. The only thing I’m likely to buy full price is the smock (dear lord please don’t let it actually be a smock)

meanwhile my I lost control of my finger at about 5am and have ordered the gingham seersucker dress which popped up in what might be my size. I still think it’s too like the alder but I think I like the shape. It was all the cats fault.

Any kindred people planning on watching the video today?

MiracleToast · 04/07/2023 09:17

@Alpacasoft yes, I received this too!

Alpacasoft · 04/07/2023 09:30

MiracleToast · 04/07/2023 09:17

@Alpacasoft yes, I received this too!

I think it means the sale will go poof very shortly.
My last order is arriving tomorrow so I hope it lasts until Thursday in case I need to change sizes!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/07/2023 09:45

Its a bit of a crappy gift. You need to spend over £150!

MiracleToast · 04/07/2023 09:48

I’m surprised as usually there is ‘final reductions’ @Alpacasoft

Yes—cant pop the usual block of soap on the order for a kindred gift! Maybe this is an additional gift and a surprise kindred will show up at some point too…

MiracleToast · 04/07/2023 09:49

@neveradullmoment99 meant to tag you on previous comment

RockaLock · 04/07/2023 09:53

I'm pretty sure I'm not a good enough customer yet to be a Kindred member, but I got the free gift email.

So I think it's for anyone.

I'm hoping that the sale hangs on until tomorrow, when my new credit card period starts, as I have a couple of things in my basket!

ToastCosILoveIt · 04/07/2023 09:54

I have decided to send the tawny brown twill pinafore back. I have it in slate and love it but I can’t make the brown version work and the straps are slipping off of my shoulders, even in a 10. I have however ordered a couple of jumpers before the sale goes poof: the fair isle oak and the lofty jacquard. They have been in my basket for ages and I love a good toast jumper.

I have been so tempted by the drawstring collar tunic dress but I wonder if I am buying for buying’s sake. Does anyone have it and it is worth the £120? Does it look fab on?
