"The Whiley-Morton family anthem:
Elton John's Tiny Dancer. Steve first played this to me. Now, someone will put it on in the kitchen and then, one by one, we'll all drift into the room until we're all there, belting it out."

Love that image. Their family kitchen sounds great.😎

Hope seeing Elton's last performance of it was special to her tonight. And, yes, she looked gorgeous again!

Oops...wrong thread...sorry.

Jo said she feels like a toilet roll cover in the flouncy dress tonight Grin

BeatriceBatchelor · 25/06/2023 23:48

Well I posted two photos which clearly show she's not had work done!

Some people just need to accept that women in their 50s and beyond can look good without cosmetic surgery, fillers, botox. Jo is a similar age to Jennifer Anniston and Courtney Cox (who've both had a lot of work done) and imho looks so much better because she's had the confidence to age naturally whilst taking good care of her body.

Delatron · 26/06/2023 07:40

I think we may also need to accept a little bit of light work isn’t a bad thing! You only notice bad work.

In the photos posted she had no work done at that point - when are the photos from? This week? Because she looks less lined now at Glastonbury than in the photos. She could have had profhilo, radio frequency, micro needling. She clearly has very good skin. If you’d have asked my a few months I’d have said no she hasn’t had any work done such as Botox. But looking at her at Glastonbury I think subtle work.

I don’t think she’s had any fillers or cosmetic surgery. Just a light touch of Botox and some of the above to keep the skin looking good.

Clymene · 26/06/2023 08:21

I don't even understand that comment @Duckingella but thanks!

Yeah, I think she's been judicious about it and has a practitioner with a very skilled touch, but has had very high quality work done, including some filler. Lots of people choose (wisely, imo) to leave lines around the eyes and some lines in their foreheads while still having tweaks.

That said, she's a stunning woman and obviously takes good care of herself. Love the socks and trainers with the dress!

I found the website address for those who love her style

I'm not affiliated with them. I just drool over the clothes I can't afford and imagine myself oneday being able to buy them. As soon as my ship comes in, I want to go to Richmond, stay over and get my whole wardrobe re stocked by this boutique.

Feather & Stitch | Ladies Clothing Boutique | Scandi & French Fashion

Feather & Stitch is a ladies clothing boutique in Richmond with a collection of handpicked, unusual, Scandinavian and French designer clothing.

She always looks amazing. Come the Revolution, she has to die. Sorry. Grin

sunglassesonthetable · 26/06/2023 09:30

As far as I'm concerned JW just looked amazing all weekend.

Glamorous, kooky, original, a bit rockn'roll. Most of all she looked true to herself which is the best way to dress. The socks and trainers would be step too far for me, but on her, at Glasto - fabulous!

I think she's a fabulous example of a woman just getting BETTER with age. And I admire her for it. I find her inspired.

I have no idea if she bought, rented or was given that dress. She's a successful working women and tbh if I had to present in front of 100,1000s of people on the telly I would throw money at the issue. if she bought the dress good luck to her.

Does anyone ever question the cost of a male presenters suit? God alive.

sunglassesonthetable · 26/06/2023 09:32

What a lovely privileged life to wear £2k dresses that you've been given and get paid by the British public broadcaster. Truly the BBC is the grift that keeps on giving (and taking from the people)

Word salad.

I also love that she's wearing it with ankle socks and trainers!

yes, girls just want to have fun! I love her style, tarty-free and real fun! The shape is similar to last year's dress. Got to wear it with trainers/boots.

She has set off a style and no doubt there will be copies right this minute!

She looked amazing. I can’t believe she’s nearly 58! She’s gorgeous

FlatWhiteExtraHot · 26/06/2023 12:21

What’s with all the “OMG I can’t believe she’s 58!!!”?

Is 58 suddenly so ancient that people are genuinely stunned she’s not wearing fucking brown crimpelene?

😂
Exactly! Time flies and before you know it,......! Jo has always had style regardless of age ...why focus on the age?!

Itsaknotat · 26/06/2023 16:40

She hasn't got jowls. That's what really pisses me off. Upper face is easy with a bit of botox. Skin tone is easy with lasers, peels, radiofrequency etc. What's not easy after 50 is jowls. Staying skinny helps but then you look gaunt or fillers and facelifts. She doesn't look gaunt despite being very slim and she doesn't look like she's had a face lift or even very subtle fillers. So where the fuck are her jowls???? I'm deeply envious.

Cheztwix · 26/06/2023 17:20

Not everyone gets jowls! My mum is 63 and there’s no sign of them. I on the other hand am 39 and can definitely see the beginnings.

Of course not! I’m 50 but still can’t imagine I’ll look as gorgeous as her in 8 years!

Nothing like Exercise, it's free! There are about 20 muscles on your face and then the neck and body.

Save money, ditch the chemicals! Natural looks nicer than superficialmm plastic looking face mask. We are being pushed to live in the Barbie image era - the industry want to mould us and be chained to this superficial look by worrying about everything - so they can be billionaires. Cosmetic make up costs more than gold.

TV lighting is very flattering. She's on the cover of Good Housekeeping this month complete with photoshopping.

I find it depressing that women won't accept that a woman near to 60 can look great with a good diet, exercise and a zest for life. They've been doing it for decades but some of you are adamant it's due to "subtle work"
