Wedding in a field .. aged 50 … help

Help please. Need an intresting dress that can be worn in an artisan type setting .most guests are artists and the like . Want to look interesting ( but nit bo ho !its nit that vibe ) cool would be the word . Men in suits but very cool ones from indi shops etc . Sort of hipster.

We did based on the pictures. The designs look like a breath of fresh air, inspiring, novel, almost unbelievable. Linen like tapestries, but lighter cotton that would move with the body.

What we got was a 'baggy skin' that hangs shapeless to the body with a great big print stamped or sprayed on top. Rubbish quality.

Hassle to send back too. Too many hurdles.

Avoid.

This would be the antithesis of any attempt at stylishness …

and thank you for starting this thread! So many fabulous dresses I wish I had an arty wedding ( field not essential) to go to ( although as a fellow shorter hourglass sadly I think some of the really fabulous ones I just couldn’t wear!).

I’ve been looking at their stuff for a while wondering whether they are any good.
Given the price it seemed obvious they wouldn’t be but the reviews seemed good.
Clearly they are all fake reviews given your comment.

Yep, we were being a bit dumb when it came to the price, but gave it a go. Absolute rubbish.

We gave the clothing away to the local vets to line beds or use to mop up animal mess.

OP, I’m 5ft 2 and am swamped by most fashions this year. But I have recently discovered a really good tailor and it’s amazing what she can do. I feel much freer now to buy clothes I like where the proportions don’t quite work because she will make sure they do.

I read an article the other day about how popular tailors have become. Apparently some men are buying cheap suits then getting them tailored so they fit perfectly and look expensive.

@NatashaDancing Most of my wardrobe is Klements. I'm a high street 8/10 and have that Georgie dress in XS, it's quite over-sized as are most of her things. The quality and the inventiveness of the prints are exceptional imo. Sorry to hijack op!

The Klements Georgie dress arrived today.Depending on style I'm a 14 on a good day and 16 on a bad. The size M is perfect. It's such a beautiful dress.
