Rixo
Batsheva
Eponine
Robert Clergerie shoes

Eponine seems to have stopped doing theready to wear so , yes, they would have been perfect (I have the La Luna dress in your link and it's certainly eye catching) unless OP is willing to start at around £3,000 for couture, it's probably not an option.

I thought about Batsheva as they definitely fit the remit but almost every one on here hates them. Your Batsheva link is actually the Eponine one again.

Batsheva

Dresses

Shop Batsheva dresses. Unapologetically feminine, Victorian, and Prairie-inspired dresses with demure silhouettes, exaggerated frills, and exclusive prints. Shop best-selling styles like the Snap Housedress and Smock Dress.

I seriously want the acer kaftan (how beautiful is that fabric?), but can’t justify it at all. Why does nobody I know get married in a field? Sad

Didn’t know that about Eponine. Batsheva is a bit London for this crowd but OP sounds cool.

Has anyone actually tried those One Hundred Stars dresses? They are beautiful, be interesting to know what the fabric is like.

FKATondelayo · 19/06/2023 14:20

Half of these look like they come from Grayson Perry's laundry basket.

I agree with the others. Dress to suit yourself first, then the occasion, certainly not to complement the other guests.

The whole point of being arty and bohemian is you don't look like everyone else.

IsThisReallyPC · 19/06/2023 14:47

Why not just be yourself.
Does it matter that everyone there are arty types.
No need to try to match up.

IsThisReallyPC · 19/06/2023 14:54

Just google ethnic, hippy, arty dresses, louds will come up.
Suggest boots, Birkenstocks, DocMartins or low natural looking sandals.
Absolutely no bling.

As a general rule…but of an arty architect here.( Not the polo neck type 🤣)

IsThisReallyPC · 19/06/2023 15:00

Im 56

Just google ethnic, hippy, arty dresses, loads will come up.

This would be the antithesis of any attempt at stylishness …

CapaciousHag · 19/06/2023 15:10

(And how do midwinter, city looks help with dressing for a Summer wedding in a field? Grin)

Ohmylovejune · 19/06/2023 15:11

Have spare, and not expensive, shoes!

I've never been to a field wedding where it didn't rain and my shoes got ruined.

Forestfriendlygarden · 19/06/2023 15:17

On the footwear front, surely you need diamante wellies like Shirley Bassey wore to glastonbury that time? Just in case it rains...but then you would need to arrive in a helicopter for the full impact..

crosstalk · 19/06/2023 15:35

Fields sound wonderful but remember they are not lawns! I wouldn't wear platforms given the hillocks and odd dips (unless they've rolled and mown it assiduously since last year which isn't really a field). Also remember antihistamine if you are in any way sensitive, and insect repellent for eg horseflies and gnats. Been to quite a few field weddings!

OP stated arty types,
Arty types are usually slightly alternative dressers
Not high street fashion

Heres one of my favourite artists, Billy Childish.

I have no idea what Light in the Box are like but here’s a look that might work.
With colourful DMs ( well it might rain, this is the UK)

Dress not too over the top if you don’t want to be.

Just looked back over your posts.
Heres another one from Light in the Box more like your look, again with docs.
The one on the right.
