Help please. Need an intresting dress that can be worn in an artisan type setting .most guests are artists and the like . Want to look interesting ( but nit bo ho !its nit that vibe ) cool would be the word . Men in suits but very cool ones from indi shops etc . Sort of hipster.

yes that sort of thing ! But maybe in tulle! The models are 9 ish inches taller than me tho ! Some of these are a great price !

Look - it’s not fancy dress! What ‘they’ wear doesn’t force you to choose the same.

Be careful with platform sandals in a field, unless it's been rolled back in the spring when the ground was soft enough to flatten out the bumps and is generally more fancy than a regular field.

Nobody, let alone the bride wants to fall flat on their face on their big day with loads of people watching you and be covered in grass stains...

You may well be going to the same wedding as me and I'm 52 and 5ft nothing too! I got my dress from Vinted as I don't buy new anymore. However it IS new but I paid £15 for it RRP 125. It's by Frock and Frill.., have a search on there for this label if you don't mind pre loved. I'd say that mine is boho but with a bit of Bollywood bling!
I also got my shoes/sandals from Vinted, excellent condition, blue suede with a block heel.

Have you thought about renting a dress? If it's not something you'll likely wear again I'd definitely consider rental.

John Lewis has a rental option now too.

I'd wear something you feel confident in though, don't try to dress like everyone else if it's not your style!

What size are you? I bought two Frock and Frill dresses from Vinted and only keeping one ... so I'm happy to sell one to you if you like it. Very cheaply. Im a 6/8. I do still have Vivienne Westwood and Pam Hogg clobber but decided that I'd not go for that look for this kinda do.
This is the one I'm not keeping, purely because I decided on a blue one. It's an 8 but they come up big.
